Update: The nonsense continues. Ordered a salad directly off menu, no changes or substitutes- got LESS than a half filled container plus missing arguably main ingredient, the chicken salad on a chicken salad salad. Unreal. 9$ for this?
I did have a nice cashier, who was one of the few good things I’ve experienced at this location. I don’t know if the person making the drinks that day was new or not, but they really dropped the ball with my order.
The food item I ordered came out fine; otherwise, I’d give a food rating of 1/5 stars.
Overall, I give this location 3/5 stars with the hope that this location improves. It’s one of the newest locations, so I hope it’ll get better.
Also, this is a new location, so it has only been around for about 2 to 3 months at most now. But I bought two YooHoo chocolate milks and they had white stuff in the bottom even when I shook it for a few minutes there was still white stuff in the bottom, and there was chocolate syrup that was stuck to the bottom it was not mixing. Almost like it was way past expired. But how does a store that just opened less than two months ago have expired chocolate milk?
I have been to this new location twice now to purchase hoagies. The first hoagie looked like somebody threw a tablespoon of tuna on a roll from across the room. Half of the sandwich was just dry bread. On the second visit, my wife and I ordered two hoagies, and the staff behind the counter were so busy chatting about their personal lives, that they completely mixed up the ingredients between our two sandwiches. In similar fashion to fast food, I now feel like I have to check the accuracy of my order before leaving this store. Two consecutive incidents like this is unusual for Wawa, but it speaks volumes to their declining attention to quality and detail. Instead, they are now focused on covering the nation with their establishments.
To add to this, Wawa store #0861, which is literally ONE MILE from this location, has been on the decline for some time now as well. For some reason, any time I order a sandwich there, I am waiting a minimum of 15 minutes for it to be prepared. This never used to be the case. Needless to say, my 20-year allegiance to this company is rapidly dwindling.
