Service is fast at Kirkwood HyWy newest location, it is clean and bright. Free from the regular creepers who frequent the next closest wawa. However it suffers from many of the same issues every other wawa has… inconsistency. You order a drink off the menu, no changes or substitutions, its made wrong or you get a 16oz poured in a 24oz cup when you pay over a dollar more for the larger size. You order a custom made salad pay for extra dressing on the side and its missing. You will get clean fast food here like most wawas, but will it be what you want/pay for… now that all depends on the day, the stars and fate.

Update: The nonsense continues. Ordered a salad directly off menu, no changes or substitutes- got LESS than a half filled container plus missing arguably main ingredient, the chicken salad on a chicken salad salad. Unreal. 9$ for this?

The atmosphere feels different from other locations. The layout of this location is confusing as it doesn’t follow similar locations. When I went, I ordered one of their newest drinks, the peppermint latte. My drink was missing the 4 pumps of mint syrup, along with the 4 pumps of cane syrup. It was just a coffee with milk and broken-up candy cane on top, which was very bitter. Another drink that I ordered was a salted caramel frozen cappuccino, and the caramel and chocolate drizzle were missing from the top.

I did have a nice cashier, who was one of the few good things I’ve experienced at this location. I don’t know if the person making the drinks that day was new or not, but they really dropped the ball with my order.

The food item I ordered came out fine; otherwise, I’d give a food rating of 1/5 stars.

Overall, I give this location 3/5 stars with the hope that this location improves. It’s one of the newest locations, so I hope it’ll get better.

I always love wawa food. But the new location is incredibly slow waited 20 mins on two hoagies and Mac and cheese. Probly just stick to another further away.

The store was clean as always. But when I got there, their service was very slow. I will give them the benefit that there was a fire there when I first got there that I had to wait for them to leave. So they might’ve been a little bit Out of whack because that but there was nobody at the store. It was like 3 in the morning. They took like 10 minutes to make me a smoothie when I was the only customer.

Also, this is a new location, so it has only been around for about 2 to 3 months at most now. But I bought two YooHoo chocolate milks and they had white stuff in the bottom even when I shook it for a few minutes there was still white stuff in the bottom, and there was chocolate syrup that was stuck to the bottom it was not mixing. Almost like it was way past expired. But how does a store that just opened less than two months ago have expired chocolate milk?

Wawa has changed. I’ve been a die-hard customer for over 20 years. Unfortunately, they are becoming like every other greedy corporation. Their focus is now on profit and expansion, as opposed to quality and concern for the public. They are no longer an authentic, hometown establishment. Now they build a generic location on every and any corner they can. They are not afraid to plop their stores merely feet from residential properties, and they could care less about the neighborhoods that they are destroying with their raucous 24/7 parking lots.

I have been to this new location twice now to purchase hoagies. The first hoagie looked like somebody threw a tablespoon of tuna on a roll from across the room. Half of the sandwich was just dry bread. On the second visit, my wife and I ordered two hoagies, and the staff behind the counter were so busy chatting about their personal lives, that they completely mixed up the ingredients between our two sandwiches. In similar fashion to fast food, I now feel like I have to check the accuracy of my order before leaving this store. Two consecutive incidents like this is unusual for Wawa, but it speaks volumes to their declining attention to quality and detail. Instead, they are now focused on covering the nation with their establishments.

To add to this, Wawa store #0861, which is literally ONE MILE from this location, has been on the decline for some time now as well. For some reason, any time I order a sandwich there, I am waiting a minimum of 15 minutes for it to be prepared. This never used to be the case. Needless to say, my 20-year allegiance to this company is rapidly dwindling.

The new Wawa convenience store is a gem! Clean, bright, and stocked with all the essentials, it’s a one-stop shop for fresh hoagies, coffee, and snacks. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the touch-screen ordering system makes customizing your meal a breeze. Love the vibrant atmosphere and convenience—Wawa nailed it with this location!

I’ve been here twice and the service is very bad, the employees are rude and online orders are never ready on time.I ordered my food at 8:00pm and it was ready at 8:45pm. The customer service is bad. Don’t order using the app, come in instead.
