I needed a good place to eat nearby after getting my tattoo, and this place caught out interest!

When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by an incredibly kind and friendly waiter. Super attentive and patient while we figured out what we wanted to order. 10/10 service

The food was absolutely amazing!! The dumplings were delicious and something I’d definitely return to have again just on its own too haha! Both our Pho had a warm hearty broth that made me feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after eating it too! The portion was incredibly generous for a medium size with the price (we had the special going on that day). I’m already missing the taste of that broth

Definitely a great little spot to have lunch!

The service was very friendly and quick. The serving sizes were big. The pho was all right, I wasn’t too big of a fan of what I got, but they have a lot of different options on the menu, so I don’t blame the restaurant for my own decision. Overall good experience. Good location as well right off of Whyte Ave and close to downtown. They even gave me a discount because it was a takeout order so that was nice as well.

Update: as friendly as the workers were, which I truly appreciate, I have been fighting with my toilet for two days straight after eating this… I feel like I have food poisoning.

Went there for lunch again. The steamed halibut and the hot pot halibut with tofu were very fresh and tasty.

The food was good. The price was a little bit more expensive than the other Vietnamese restaurants. The soup noodles were good. The soup did not have that much MSG. The dessert, deep fried ice cream was good also. The BBQ pork was the best. I loved it.

Service was very accommodating and welcoming. Server was super sweet and kind to everyone. She always made sure we were happy, and quickly offered to help if she thought we might need something.

Food was delicious. I ordered beef vermicelli (9/10). Definitely recommend it. The beef was a unique style from the usual beef (this was served in a larger portion on a skewer). I am not sure if I prefer it, but it was a nice and unique change. The spring rolls were the best I have ever had and were quite large.

Atmosphere was fine. Not the best I have been in, but still very agreeable. Soft music for most of the time in the background.

I did not pay attention to any vegetarian or dietary options, but I suspect they have a few, based of of the type of food styles they serve.

Inedible and overpriced. Satay tasted gross like old meat and no real flavour.
I actually left the whole bowl and drove to Thanh Thanh downtown for a proper Satay.

Paid full price which was also $30 for the soup and beer.

I was food poisioned here Thursday night. I only had desserts “deep fried ice cream” & “deep fried banana.” It was likely the rolls in the deep fried ice cream.

After 24 hours of cramps, puking, bloody stool when I called they did not believe me or offer any investigation to ensure it would not happen to others let alone my losses or fact I had to endure the worst 48 hours of my life with cramps.

I was with 4 other people the whole day we all had the same lunch they & I know I was perfectly fine & happy until about an hour after I ate these desserts.

This review could have easily been avoided BY USING AN OUNCE OF ACCOUNTABILITY in offering that the incident would have been investigated rather than attempting to claim I am wrong that it was not from their desserts, it was.

I visited this place when it first opened many years ago, and perhaps it felt niche or craft back then—or maybe there’s simply more competition now. There appears to be a joint menu and establishment adjacent, likely a shared kitchen. Either way, there are definitely other establishments serving better Pho.

To be fair, the service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fresh and inviting. However, the soup itself was disappointing. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, a traditional spicy soup, but it lacked spice—and while I could overlook that, the real issue was the bland broth. The noodles were overly soft, almost as if they’d been overcooked in advance.

Additionally, the meats were sparse, and one piece was cold. While I understand this is a typical practice, the broth should have been hot enough to warm the meat properly, but it wasn’t. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of what the original establishment used to deliver. I did leave full.

Unfortunately I didn’t find the pho impressive or the ingredients to be the freshest. I liked the salad rolls but the price felt steep. I think I was also overcharged for my pho. I read a sign that said 9.99 pho, then my bill came up to regular price for the bowl. Been here a few times before and really enjoyed it, not sure what’s changed.

We had an enjoyable dinner at Phobulous. We like the food and nice ambience of the restaurant. We ordered Mother Phở (rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, beef balls and tripe), Phở Real (rare steak) and Phởlicious (well done steak). Everything tasted so delicious and flavourful. We enjoyed the savoury broth and fresh ingredients used to make the pho so appetizing. The meats were perfectly cooked to our liking. Awesome food, nice clean restaurant and friendly staff.
