The food was very good and the service was great! I ordered General Tso’s tofu dinner, along with the vegetable fried rice, requested extra mushrooms, and crab rangoons. The fried rice could have had a little bit more seasoning for my liking, however the extra mushrooms were included and the vegetable medley was great, consisting of small baby corn, kernel corn, broccoli, onions, peas and a few other items. The tofu was delicious. Great sauce, well cooked! Nice size portion.

I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. Yes, the food and service truly is awful. Heed their warnings and mine. Although the restaurant is 7 minutes away, delivery took an hour. The food was cold upon arrival, which was frustrating, but I would live. What they served, however, should embarrass them. The sweet and sour chicken and French fries appeared to be lathered in grease, perhaps from old food being deep fried multiple times, and the moo shu beef was more of a moo shu stew. Needless to say, we ordered pizza instead. This was my first and last time ordering from Empire Chen.

I have only ever ordered from here for delivery, so I can’t speak to the restaurant. The delivery drivers are quick, efficient, and kind.
I started ordering from here originally because the prices are so affordable, especially compared to other places in the area.

This place has the worse customer service ever. The driver took my food to an incorrect location. Lied and said he handed it to me. Sent a photo of the food on a door handle of some type of business that was NOT my home or address. I called for 2 1/2 hours for the run around. They lied and told me the boss was on her way to me, for only to have 2 guys showing up with the food from the wrong address that they picked up and gave to me cold. The guy had the nerve to tell me I will get a free soda next time. There will never be a next time. Mistakes happens but to give me a close to 3 hour run around was so unprofessional. They was so cheap they didn’t even make a fresh order to give me. They just have the driver fetch the 2 1/2 hour order to give to me. Now see this picture and you will see that this is not a place of residence

I ordered from this restaurant for the first and last time. I got the egg foo young with shrimp fried rice, fried chicken, and ribs with pork fried rice. Unfortunately, everything was disappointing. The egg foo young came with a salty sauce instead of traditional gravy, the ribs had an off-putting taste, and the chicken was simply terrible.
When I called to express my dissatisfaction, they offered to exchange my food, but I declined and requested a refund for at least one dish upon returning it. They initially agreed. However, when my daughter arrived with the food, instead of honoring their word, they argued with her and only offered $7 back on a $34 order.
The lack of quality and poor customer service make this a place I would never order from again. I wouldn’t even serve this food to my dog.

I don’t know why everyone is upset with Empire Chen. It is our office FAVORITE chinese restaurant. When we group order through Door Dash they always separate out our food with our name on it to make it easier to distribute. We have started calling to order instead, because we have realized the food is marked up in cost through DoorDash.
The food we get is always delicious, and we prefer picking it up because delivery does usually take a bit long to get to us. Our food is not always ready when we arrive to pick it up, but we expect that at this point and we don’t get pissy about it like everyone else who is rating them poorly seems to. The food is TASTY and I personally LOVE their Garlic Sauce Wontons. We order their sesame chicken and general tso’s lunch specials all the time – pro tip, ask for the chicken to be extra crispy!

I swear to you this is by far the WORST Chinese restaurant EVER!!! NEVER again! I ordered for the first time from this place tonight, what a disaster to say the least. It took an hour for my food to get here and then once the driver left and I checked my food I noticed they got my order wrong. I called the restaurant to complain and a woman answered the phone whom which I could not understand a word what she was saying. She told me next time they would give me a free soda? Like WHAT? NO! I just spent $40 on food. I demanded to speak with a manager whom they said would call me back within a minute. 20 mins passes and I get a call saying they would deliver the correct food. It took the driver another 45 minutes to get here and then came to the wrong address. I’m telling the driver to come to the back of the building and he just was not understanding what I was saying. I live in an apartment building and there’s an entrance in the back and that’s where I was waiting and he just was not getting it, maybe the language barrier I guess! I was so frustrated! I have to walk through the whole building to the front to get my food. I told him never again would I ever order from this restaurant again, and that’s a promise! The food was absolutely disgusting, swimming in oil! The shrimp toast was dried out like old boots. The sauce on the food just as disgusting! People please take heed, and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! I’M INFURIATED!

If you’re ordering from this restaurant be careful that they will give you a little bit of meat with a whole bunch of broccoli to fill up the Bowl so basically I had to call them and request that they give me a refund or send me some real meat cuz I ordered two large orders of meat and both of the orders had so much broccoli in it I could barely find the meat basically I paid almost $50 for a bunch of broccoli and no meat they should be ashamed of themselves I couldn’t barely feed my family
