Food was delicious, but I asked for three regular egg rolls and they gave me pork. I’m highly allergic to pork and they said I never told them that when I called to ask after having multiple symptoms of an allergic reaction. I mean, if I ask for regular egg rolls, why the hell would you give me pork egg rolls? I’ve eaten regular egg rolls for 20+ years, never have I heard of regular having pork in it. Ended up having to call 911 because my throat was closing and I had hives. Now I’m in the hospital due to it. If you put something in one of your foods, you absolutely need to disclose it for allergy reasons.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. The chicken was dark and certainly didn’t look like “real” chicken. All that was included was “chicken,” rice, and onions. There were no eggs, peas, carrots, etc. I’ve never had chicken fried rice from any restaurant that didn’t have those things in it.

Great Chinese food for the price but it is hard to order on the phone because I am unsure they understand. I order on doordash but for pick up they have the same prices as if it were to be delivered so it discourages me from ordering food on the app.

This used to be my go to since the 90’s. For the past few years, as someone else mentioned since the owners retired. The food in every aspect has declined so bad. It’s not the same at all! Taste is terrible and the quality is not the same. I’m so sad about it bc it was so good before! Please teach the cooks how to cook and do things as before if you want your regulars back. I never recommend them to anyone anymore and I haven’t been back in a long time. Please change back!!!!!!!!

Since the original owners retired the food has drastically changed for the worst unfortunately. I have ordered here several times to see if it was an off night, but each time the food has been very bland (no flavor). The customer service has gone down as well. It is convenient in town but I will be making the drive to China Garden from now on to get better quality Chinese food. Sorry China Wok of Walkersville, but your missing the mark on making good food ….

Genuinely surprised how this place is still open for business. Due to its location and great reviews, we have ordered a few times from this restaurant. We made sure to try different dishes in case the chef was having a bad day.
Each time we were extremely disappointed. The food is very bland, almost tasteless and the serving is small compared to other Chinese places. This opinion is across several family members and friends. We want to like this place so much – take your money elsewhere…
