This was an encore visit; as I had a lovely experience just a week ago. Today I decided to try different items on the menu along with my dining companion, who’s never been to LT.

We arrived promptly for our 5:30pm reservation. My dining companion thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly & lobster roll. I loved the Nashville oysters but felt the Caesar salad & fried rice were lackluster. My cosmo was perfect, I appreciate bartender’s attention to detail. The space is a chill vibe with dim ambiance. My complaint is in mid conversation our server came over and said, “ ok ladies we’ll have to wrap this up the wedding party is arriving”.

My friend and I were super perplexed. No one indicated upon arrival that we were on borrowed time due to a private event. This would’ve been helpful to know ahead so we could determine if we wanted to keep the reservation or not. Alternatively, he could’ve suggested we step over to Yellowbelly instead kicking us out without warning.

Drinks are cute but not strong. Food was good. Service was great. Small
&’cozy atmosphere. My only gripe (not restaurant related) was parking. It took my husband 20 minutes to find a spot since it’s located in the CWE near many other busy establishments.

Lazy Tiger is an absolute gem of a bar in St. Louis! The atmosphere is laid-back and fun, perfect for unwinding with friends or having a casual date night. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit feel welcoming. Daniel and Jackson were great! Their unique cocktail menu offers creative drinks that are both delicious and visually stunning. Plus, the vibe and music set just the right mood for a good time. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Lazy Tiger is a must-visit spot that truly lives up to its five-star reputation! Ask for LALO tequila!

This place was amazing. It shares a kitchen with Yellowbelly, so what can you expect other than perfection. This place didn’t disappoint.

Let’s start with the food/drink. We started with Brussels sprouts and holy mother of god they were amazing. The fried rice with all the fixin’s added in was also divine. The other dish we got was the steak which was good. We finished with the dessert espresso martini.

The service was great, our waitress was so attentive and sweet. There was a large group next to us and the whole place was booked and full. The space is small and I’d suggest getting reservations. Also final note – the branding is absolutely ON POINT here, so cute. The vibe of the whole place is very much aesthetically pleasing to a restaurant named Lazy Tiger

Lazy Tiger is an absolute standout in the Central West End. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and stylish without feeling overdone. I sat at the bar and was lucky enough to be served by Elizabeth, who delivered exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails.

The highlight of my evening was the Moroccan Spiced Halibut. It was perfectly cooked—tender and flaky—with bold, warm spices that struck a perfect balance without overwhelming the dish. Every bite was flavorful and thoughtfully plated.

Elizabeth made the whole experience even better with great drink recommendations and just the right amount of conversation. It’s clear the team at Lazy Tiger takes pride in what they do.

MUST VISIT IN STL! Coming from NYC, this is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to lately from the drinks, food, service, and all around vibes. They put an incredible amount of detail into everything and it shows. The craft cocktails are innovative, yet approachable, and extremely well-balanced. They also carry a unique variety of spirits on the menu that you can’t find anywhere else.

One drink I especially loved and recommend is the Budgy Smuggler made with their housemade clarified milk. You can also order off the entire Yellowbelly food menu (sister restaurant next door) and every dish we tried was amazing. Get the raw and hot fried oysters, beef fat fries, lump crab fritters, elote taquitos, brussels, charred carrots, pork belly, green curry salmon, and grilled hangar steak. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were so unique.

This should be a must stop if you’re in STL and also a great event space. I can’t wait to go back!

Food and service at Lazy Tiger are top notch and the ambiance should be experienced by all. They have an awesome “new age” cocktail menu that gives plenty of spin to everyone’s favorite classics. They serve food from Yellowbelly, their sister restaurant next door. We absolutely loved every dish and drink ordered. Will return soon to order different items and get more of the whole experience. Thanks for a great dinner!

This place in general looks very, very cool. I love the look of the place. It’s very okay shout out to Elizabeth. She was our waiter. She did great The food is great. It’s a little expensive side but it’s worth it. The drinks are great too. I got the banana pain killer. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back again. And just a note, their food is from Yellow Belly. They’re like partner places But it doesn’t take long. The food comes out quick. The drinks come out quick. And they’re happy hours are only on Tuesdays and Thursdays but highly recommend. Highly recommend. Also make sure you have your IDs
