Sizeable menu with attentive and friendly staff! I sat down at one of the bar seats and was greeted pretty quickly. I was there on a Monday so I went for the half price house oysters and got a bowl of clam chowder.

My personal favorite are the Kumamoto oysters but they didn’t have them here. The house oysters were quite large in size but they didn’t taste like what I expected of raw oysters. They didn’t taste like anything, just texture. The mouth feel and texture was fine. Something about the taste was missing for me.

I liked their clam chowder. The bowl was a sizeable portion and I loved how thick the chowder was.

It was a quick in and out meal for $28. Not bad.

I’ve been to the other Oyster Bar locations located at Station Casinos. This location is ok. Service was good but, the person cooking in the front needs to be more pleasant or at least smile at the patrons. She had a sour face.

We ordered the Red Rock Pan Roast with extra rice. The pan roast tasted really good. I enjoyed the sausage and shrimp along with the other items in the dish. My friends enjoyed the oysters but said it was a bit big.

Great spot for a quick bite.

This is a good place to visit if you were craving seafood during your stay at Red Rock. I have seen times where this place can get busy, but I rarely see it too full.

I’ve had this place before for their pan roast, which at the time was somewhat decent. But my current review is more leaning towards the specials as it was pretty surprising to me. We came here on a Tuesday and ate the oysters which were $1 a piece. They were really good and tasted fresh. Also looking at the other specials would be the main reason why I’d be coming here throughout the weekend.

The real surprise was when I asked them about their specials. Which ended up being two lobster rolls for $18. The lobster rolls were really good and really fresh. I’m not sure if the secret menu changes every day but I was pretty surprised by this.

Being that we came here on a weekday, the place was pretty quiet. There were probably only 2-3 staff members there and we were the only customers. Based on just the specials alone, I would highly suggest giving this place a try.

We ordered oysters, clam chowder and shrimp cocktails. The oysters were a little larger than we expected, but still good. They were served with minionett sauce and cocktail sauce with horseradish. The clam chowder was excellent; lots of clams all the way through, and served in a huge bowl. Just the right amount of little potatoes, too. The biggest surprise was the shrimp cocktail. Five huge jumbo shrimp were served with cocktail sauce and horseradish. They were so big, they reminded me of small lobster tails. The bread rolls they served were quite a bit hard, almost like they were a day old. But, oddly enough, they stood up to the clam chowder quite well. The server refilled my wife’s soda a few times, which was nice. They are conveniently located right off of the casino floor. Service was good. Overall, a very nice visit. We will be back!

Everything was very well flavored. Beautiful presentation. The blue point oysters were fresh and delicious. Crab cake was meaty and flavored very well. Steamed clams also good choice. Hamachi tacos were fine. I thought it was missing something.

After being a regular at the Palace Station Oyster Bar I thought I’d try the Red Rock Oyster Bar since it’s closer to my house.
First off, the line wasn’t very long and proved to be a harbinger of things to come. After a little confusion we were seated. Immediately the vibe was definitely halter skelter as compared to Palace. First, service. The server seemed to be rushed and I unrelaxed. This led to us feeling rushed and we had to ask for things that were typical with service at Palace Station. Things like bread. Things like soft butter. We definitely felt like a number. I’m very gregarious and approachable yet there was no small talk to lighten the mood. Aside from the water coming in these chintzy small cups, we had to ask for more. In terms of food value for money, we checked the prices on everything prior to going and the wine was 2$ more per glass than the price on the website. The pan roast we ordered was a combo of shrimp, crab and lobster except they forgot the crab and lobster! The flavor was good enough but it left you with that “ripped off” feeling.

So overall the vibe was less professional?than Palace or Big Al’s. So for the above reasons I do not recommend eating there. They have a ways to go to meet the standards at Big Al’s or Palace Station for oyster bars.

Absolutely phenomenal – I would highly recommend Red Rock Oyster Bar to satisfy your oyster and seafood craving! The service here was efficient and friendly; even though there can be a queue to sit at the bar it moves quickly. Everything was packed with flavor and freshness.

*** FOOD POISONING ***
Was here for a work conference and only ate on site at red rocks convention. Got food poisoning exactly 24 hours after visiting this oyster bar, so this was the clear culprit – called to report and the managers only duty was to deny. Claimed they’d open an investigation but I don’t expect any findings.

Wouldn’t even refund the meal, which is the least they could do. I even ordered the chefs choice/higher tier oysters, but it could have been the lobster roll special for $10. DO NOT RISK IT, you’ve got better odds on the casino floor.

Recently opened in the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin, stopped by for a quick bite to eat after visiting the sportsbook. Wasnt crowded on a Monday afternoon, so sat down and was immediately greeted by the server. Decided on the Monday Shrmp Po Boy special when ordering a specialty dish, so got the combo seafood pan roast to go with it.

Food is made to order, chef prepared the food in front of you…. and decided to add a little spice at no additional charge

Served with a scoop of white rice, this dish seemed more packed with seafood compared to another place I went to last time…. an added plus. The po boy sandwich took a little while to arrive but seemed like everyone at ordered the lunch special so they all came out at once. A bit smaller than i expected but no regrets.

Another choice when you want good seafood and pan roasts without the wait and drive. Food, service was excellent… 5 stars

Want oyster bar but don’t want to wait? Come to this location.

It’s about 30 mins from the strip but when you get here you can get seated immediately vs Durango or palace station.

Same great pan roast!
