The elk steak was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were outstanding! Thanks for having non-alcoholic craft beer. The location is prime and the young lady server was one of the most pleasant servers I’ve seen in a while dining out! Thank you for supporting Gogebic Area Grooming!

This was our first time dining here and it was 10/10! It overlooks lake Ogebic and was so cozy inside during wintertime. The prices are reasonable and the food was phenomenal! We spoke with the head chef and owner as he stopped around each table to check in and he’s been in the biz for over 40 years he said! You can tell. My husband loved the perch fry and I got the filet and lobster tail. The filet was cooked perfect and had a yummy charred taste! We will be back next time we’re in the area. Def make a stop if you’re able! The espresso martini was amazing too. They’re open lunch and dinner 🙂

Had my wife’s 60th birthday here. The food was excellent. My wife had the Smoked Prime Rib and I had a rib eye steak. Both were cooked to perfection. I would usually pick a steak over prime rib, but my wife’s prime rib was probably the best I have ever had. Full of flavor.
Wild rice soup was great. We had the lemon raspberry cake as well. The service was awesome as well. Our server Rhema was super friendly and very attentive. Cannot recommend enough.

We pulled into an empty parking lot but left extremely satisfied with this freshly prepared meal. We both had the homemade freshly squeezed lemonade and it was delicious! I had a cup of the wild rice soup and it was creamy and filled with mushrooms, chicken and vegetables. It was most excellent. The Parmesan pan fried Walleye was also very good although the parmesan coating kept separating from the fish. It was served with a dinner roll, potato and homemade tartar sauce. We asked about dessert and decided to try the Lemon Raspberry cake. It was out of this world delicious! The cake itself was similar to a shortcake in density and had a thick coating of fresh raspberry filling, followed by smashed fresh red raspberries and a huge dollop of real whipped cream. It most definitely did not disappoint!

Hidden gem. My only suggestion would be to improve signage to guide you to the restaurant. The menu is super cool and you will be able to find something interesting and delicious. If we had discovered this place earlier in our trip we would have definitely went back. Worth the 30 minute drive from our hotel. Our server was very nice and friendly. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for a unique and delicious menu!

One of the best meals we’ve had. The menu is full of so many out of the box options, it was hard to choose. We took recommendations from the hostess & waiter and couldn’t have been more impressed. White fish boil & Chicken bacon & artichoke fettuccine Alfredo with turtle cheesecake for dessert.

Probably the nicest place you can have dinner for food quality and otherwise in the area. Our server Rama was awesome and the chef even came out to ask how our dinner was. Had the smoked prime rib and my wife had the duck. Both were fantastic!

Absolutely incredible experience at Finn & Feather.
The food was delicious. My husband had the smoked prime rib with fried shrimp and cranberry rice pilaf — unbelievably flavorful and tender. I ordered the seafood pomodoro, and having been raised in New England, ordering seafood outside of New England is always a risk… but this was hands down the best seafood pomodoro I’ve ever had. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly tender, and the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness.
The side salad came with a blackberry balsamic dressing. I’m not usually a fan of blackberry, but I tried it at the suggestion of our waitress and it absolutely did not disappoint — excellent flavor without being overpowering.
Our son had the 3D grilled cheese. He’s a picky eater and really enjoyed his meal, which says a lot.
We finished with dessert — homemade German chocolate cake and caramel apple crisp — both outstanding.
Excellent service throughout the entire meal — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations and truly elevated the experience.
We were seated by the window and loved watching the sleds go by, which added to the atmosphere. We literally can’t stop talking about this place and can’t wait to go back. It’s officially my new favorite spot.

My family and I loved the food and drinks we got at the Finn & Feather restaurant. My walleye dinner was fantastic- walleye was a great cut, breaded perfectly and I didn’t find a single bone. My daughter had wild rice soup (so tasty) and a walleye sandwich. My husband had a rack of ribs with each half rack with a different sauce. The ribs were very meaty and the homemade sauce was very flavorful!
I enjoyed the Northern Cosmo which was one of the best cosmos I have ever had ( Ithink it was the cranberry puree that made it so good).
Jen and Steve, the owners, were so welcoming and the rest of the staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the view of the lake (even though it was raining). I would highly recommend!
