Place is simply amazing. The staff was awesome. Incredibly friendly knowledgeable and easy going. They described the menu beautifully and called out their personal favorites. With seasonal dishes and catch of the day you can not go wrong with Dunes Bros. Each meal was served with such decadence and brilliant plating. It’s hard to dig into a meal that looks like a piece of art. The scallops were simply amazing. Seared and raw. Both dishes packed unique punches that were fantastic. The fired blackfish was fire. Some of the best fried fish I’ve had in New England. The Tile Fish and Black Sea-bass were outstanding. Both incredible in their own way. The squash done multiple way with the Tile Fish was fire. The whole sea bass was just out of this world. I can’t recommend this place enough. Fresh, local, and seasonal. Solid work from the front of the house to the back of the house. Can’t wait to come back.

Dune Brothers has the best lobster roll
I’ve ever had hands down, and I’ve tried a few! It was just glorious. It was also reasonably priced for the quality and quality you get. We also had clam chowder, raw clams, and the fish sandwich. All of them were fabulous. I can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes.

The food was amazing, fish sandwich and fries were on point, nice and crisp, the grapefruit Pannacotta which was on point for flavor. Very clean establishment and nice area, the restaurant inside is nice, and the outside seating is wonderful with the outside heaters. Andy was my server and they were amazing and super friendly, absolutely an amazing employee, I will definitely be bringing my friends and family.

Oh my goodness! New England clam chowder with so many clams! And the fish sandwich! Hubby had the crab claws and lobster roll with fries. No filler, just buttery lobster on brioche. Highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to grab some dinner at this new location with a friend! I was excited to try it out after finding out it was a Dune Brothers opening in the neighborhood! The space is very cute, a sophisticated nautical vibe with the interior. The space is very cozy with limited seating, but there are is also an outdoor area around the back that is heated! The menu IS different than the one you might be used to in their location in the Diamond District but delicious nonetheless the less. The staff was kind and attentive. I really do love their fish and ships and the fish sandwich we got with the coleslaw was awesome! I really enjoy their coleslaw, it might be my favorite! Please support this business that does have takeout available as well as a pick up window which is very adorable.

I ordered fish and chips. The fish was pollock. The sauces and the fries were really good! But as for the fish…the piece they served me was too large and thick, I wish they broke it up and fried it in smaller pieces. Ratios matter! Also, they left the skin on the pollock. Maybe I am uncultured swine, but I consider fish and chips to be “entry level” seafood. I have never had fish skin in my fish and chips. I really like how this place is unconventional and trying to push the envelope with peoples experience with seafood – great philosophy and mission. However I would recommend not messing with such a traditional dish as fish and chips by leaving the skin on the fish. It made one side of the fish rubbery and tough. Fish skin is really good for you and should be included in seafood dishes, but not in fish and chips (my opinon). I hope this feedback is received! Really good start, but room for improvement!

The new sit-down Dune Bros is awesome. Our group of 4 stopped by on a chilly January Friday and put our name down for an hour wait. (They will call you so you can stop by any of the local bars). We tried the crab special, snow crabs, the crudo, and fish special! Everything was delicious and super fresh. 10/10 recommend.

We are STOKED that we have Dune Bros available year round now! The expanded menu here is epic, the decor is rad, and the market and to-go counter are perfect for grabbing delicious seafood on the go or to take home. I also wanted to say the staff here and at the seasonal shack are always just the chillest people no matter how busy it is. Congrats on opening, y’all!

Clam chowder was good, nothing mind blowing. Had the sauteed monkfish which was tautog, it was slightly overcooked and way too salty. It’s a small place, at 5pm on Saturday all indoor seating was taken. The seating outdoors under the heat lamp is super awkward, it’s a bench against a wall and the table perpendicular to it, so there’s no comfortable way to sit and eat your food directly in front of the table. You’re hanging off the side of it. It all seemed way over priced for what they’re offering. Service was nice though.
