This place has been here for ever on the edge of downtown Mt.Clemens. Small and many times crowded with regulars.
Comfortable and clean with a pig theme decor.
Food is above average but higher in price to similar area restaurants. Sadly like others they charge for extra that once were included like hash browns with your omelet.
Still a good stop for comfort foods and the specialty of ham and corned beef.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Louie’s and couldn’t resist trying the Russian Reuben sandwich. It was absolutely massive and packed with amazing flavors that truly delighted my taste buds!
Although parking was a bit tight, I found it manageable, and it was worth the effort. The price of $17 for such a delicious sandwich felt reasonable, especially considering the quality.
Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive, ensuring that our food arrived quickly. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend Louie’s for anyone looking for a satisfying meal. I can’t wait to return and try more.

I’ve been going here for several years and the same staff is still there. That tells me about how well the company treats its people. It’s also consistently great food, with portions large enough to have as two meals. The food always tastes great, and the service is kind, efficient and friendly.

I’ve enjoyed the food every time , I’ve always overlooked the poor customer service provided to me by the women in front (cashiers) understanding the field of customer service, can be hard. Though every time being treated the same, is no longer an excuse for just having a bad day etc. I now know that this bias treatment towards me is personal. I will no longer be a customer here nor refer anyone again. Terrible

We were in Michigan visiting family and were looking for a local place to eat. We googled and happy to find Louie’s! We ordered the special pastrami and cabbage soup, corned beef and tuna melt. The cabbage soup was delicious and tasty, the pastrami on sourdough was excellent piled high with meat and the tuna melt was delectable! Our waitress was so nice and helpful! The coffee was great! Price was reasonable! We definitely will be back whenever we come back to visit!

This place has a nice feel to it. I was in Detroit for the marathon and stopped by this place on a request from someone the food was delicious. I had the corn beef and pastrami mix a potato pancakes, scrambled eggs, and coleslaw. I would definitely recommend this place.
