This was a cute little restaurant me and my boyfriend went to after stopping at Muscle Inc., next door. This was one of the best Chinese food restaurants I’ve been to. The food was super fresh and full of flavor. I’ve never had orange chicken that had fresh orange in it. The fried rice was light and cooked to perfection. The steamed vegetable dumplings were absolutely delicious. The egg roll was fried in fresh oil. I highly recommend this place!

Last night we got take out from here and it used to be a favorite of mine but it seems to me that they’ve gotten down right lazy. The love and care they used to put in the food has left the chat. We got a walnut shrimp, beef and broccoli and crispy beef. The Walnut shrimp was not deveined and you could taste the grittiness of the feces in the shrimp still. Not to mention there was barely any sauce. The beef and broccoli was flavorless. Like you could have even used some beef bouillon to give the sauce some flavor and depth but it literally tasted like they boiled the beef and made a sauce out of the water is was boiled in. Lastly the crispy beef was also tasteless. We contacted Uber Eats to get this rectified and it was to no avail. Next we contacted the actual restaurant and they were quick to say “You gotta contact Uber”. Not a sorry or any remorse in sight. I definitely recommend going to Chopstix (they’re fantastic) instead of this place cause they’ve lost the plot. I don’t usually post food reviews but this one got me hot especially with how dismissive they were. Get your house in order Hunan ✌

I haven’t dined in at House of Hunan in years- we usually order out. It’s the only Chinese place in town that we can patronize because of my husband’s allergies and cross contamination of seafood. They must keep things pretty clean and separated when requested because we’ve never had an issue.

The important part: my husband and I went today and were impressed by the service, presentation, and taste of the food. It really was a lovely experience and we’re excited to go back!

I’m so glad that have dine in available again. The lunch specials are a great value and good serving size. They are more than willing to honor special requests. The staff is always pleasant and the food arrives quickly and is nice and hot. This is my favored place to come for my Chinese fix.

Very nice decor, very clean, very polite service. We ordered 2 lunch specials the twice cooked pork and Szechuan chicken and string beans. Generous portions, the pork came with a happy assortment of vegetables all cooked until just al dente (cabbage, carrot, mushroom, snow pea, and bell pepper) in a sticky spicy and savory sauce. Fried rice, an egg roll, and choice of soup were all included with the lunch special and we tried both the Wonton and Egg Drop soups. The broth is very flavorful and the wonton is made with a stiff chewy dough I really like. The egg drop soup is presumably made with the same tasty broth and thickened to an almost pudding consistency; it’s very eggy and comforting. All-in-all it was an incredible value at just under $30 for everything mentioned *and* a shrimp tempura to split, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. I’ll definitely be looking for excuses to come back!

Great cheese wonton, excellent fried rice, and made steamed vegetable substitution on the roast pork and snow peas for hubby’s keto diet!

The atmosphere was very calm, and the service was great. They seemed to care very much, which I appreciated. I had the Kung Pao Chicken. It didn’t quite taste right. The chicken didn’t quite taste like chicken. But, overall, it was decent.

I really wish this restaurant success. Just keep working hard to improve in all ways and I am sure success will come.

My granddaughter and I went last week. We had a lovely lunch together. I had the sesame chicken and she had the orange chicken. The lunch special not only was it inexpensive. It was very good. Actually I took enough home. I had enough for my dinner.
