I got a slice—it’s so big they cut it into four pieces.
If you’re looking for European-style pizza, this is the place. Very tasty. I’ll definitely come back here again.

Food was very middle of the road. Tried so much. Pizzas was okay. Crust felt premade. Pizza was mid level and cheese settled very plastic like (see pic). Wings were middle of the road. My son had the chicken Alfredo. Sauce lacked flavor. Prices were HIGH!! Great atmosphere though. Felt like a really cool New York pizza shop. Staff were awesome too.

Biggest pizza slice I have ever had. Each slice was cut up into 4 sub-slices. The crust was amazing too, on the thinner side and perfectly crispy and crunchy. They did not hold back on the toppings either, really delicious. The owner was also very nice, he gave me a free bottle of water after I asked for a cup.

They are always very kind and make everything fresh. They handmake their pasta each morning, so if you want pasta, best either call to check if they have any left or go early. Their food has yet to disappoint.

This pizza chain is famous for its Big Papa/Mama pizzas for parties. I got their one topping special and it was ok but nothing special compared to other pizza places. My order was on time and the guy up front was friendly. Street parking only next to Lucky Baldwins Pub.

Time to update my review of Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizza on East Colorado boulevard in Pasadena (see old review below). I’ve been enjoying the great food from this location for a long time. Very convenient location near the corner of Colorado Boulevard and Allen Avenue. Extensive eclectic menu featuring appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and desserts. I like their chicken wings, chicken tenders, garlic bread with cheese, hand-tossed all-meat pizza, and Mexican pizza. They have everything from slices to their famous gigantic pizza. Some items on the menu must be ordered in advance. Pies customizable with different crusts & toppings. The selection of sandwiches includes their famous Philly Cheesesteak. My personal favorite dessert is their Tiramisu.
They have some tables inside to accommodate customers. There is pick up available from either the front along Colorado Boulevard or from their rear parking lot.
With such an extensive menu you can always find something good!
I seem to order their pastas and calzones the most. The place is now Under New Management so I’m expecting some great changes. I was told that they will do some remodeling and look forward to that happening soon. Parking available on the street or around by the rear entrance.

Saw pics of the pizzas so I decided to come down. Got a big slice of pizza but it’s actually super thin and combined with a drink it was 10 bucks. A slice of combo from Costco plus a drink beats this for only 2.50 but obviously restaurants need to charge more than Costco but I feel like this combo should be 5-6 bucks not 10. The pizza itself resembled the square pizzas served during grade school. It’s not bad or good just feels like for the price it should have been more.

I come from Chicago so I have high standards for pizza, TBS… for pizza in CA it was decent. Having the worst pizza experiences before from CA, my only expectation was that it was edible. Well this was better than most frozen pizza. We had the deluxe pizza. The flavor was mild not exciting. The crust was gummy, could have been more crispy. The veggies were large could have been diced. And the meats were okay, nothing bad, nothing special. Nothing burnt, nothing that was majorly negative. But only one guy working I am not going to harsh them. The pizza was decent.

The pizza is big but we are disappointed with the taste.
We would have liked to find quality ingredients instead.
There is a lack of investment in the preparation of pizzas.
Beyond the size, I think that for 15 to 20 people it is not enough. There were 5 of us on it and could have finished it if it had been better.
Plus, it’s expensive for what it is.
Damage…
