One of the best bakerys I’ve ever been to. Tha bake was so creative with unique creations, like a matching cheesecake brownie thing. A blueberry cheesecake Danish. The chocolate chip cookie was one of the best. Apparently hes always baking new things. It was all reasonably priced. Highly recommend. I loved it.

Wow, astoundingly great food – especially when you come in after a few days camping in the hinterlands. Everything looked so good, huge portions, and tasted great! Not only the food, but espresso drinks, homemade canned goods, t-shirts, bags, and other gift items at very reasonable prices. This is a must stop, when in the area!

This past weekend I was driving from Tucson to Salt Lake City and really needed food. There was no service in this area so we stopped at this cafe seemingly in the middle of nowhere… it was amazing! Everything was so good! We got coffee, many pastries, and the elk. Service was very fast and friendly. Definitely worth the stop!

Stopped here for lunch while traveling through the area and had super tasty food, got some pro tips on some places to explore along our way, and left with plenty of snacks for the road! 12/10. We look forward to stopping here any time we are in the area in the future. If you’re driving through, stop here!!!

Excellent food even though it’s in the middle of nowhere. I got the half order of biscuits with sausage gravy and 1 over medium egg. It was still a full meal so I’m glad I went with the smaller portion. It was fluffy and savory, the egg cooked perfectly. It was only $7.96. That’s a bargain. The woman working was also very friendly and attentive. The store also had a lot of local goods for sale, from honey to desserts.

We were staying in Reserve NM for a few days of rockhounding with our rock club from AZ. We took the pleasant drive from our lodging to enjoy a great breakfast here before a day of agate hunting. The baked goods looked fantastic. The staff were super cordial and welcoming. As in many tiny towns, this seems to be the local meeting place, and as each person came in, we were greeted with a friendly hello.
The food selections were surprisingly sophisticated for such a small, rural location. I thoroughly enjoyed a Garden Frittata loaded with veggies and served with a side of veggies and homemade wheat toast that was fantastic. My husband opted for an Elk Burger breakfast with eggs over easy that he said were perfect, and it was topped of with a magnificent biscuit with butter and honey.
We highly recommend this place if you’re ever in this neck of the woods. I’m seriously regretting not getting a cookie or cinnamon roll or two. Definitely next time!

Arrived as they were closing but were happy to go ahead and serve us. The food is fantastic. Fresh ingredients and lots of menu items. This place is kind of an oasis in the middle of nowhere.
Updated review from above review 2 years ago. We stopped by on our way through again this week. We’ve actually been by a few times but they are rarely open. They are currently open Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. Regardless it’s a good idea to call to verify hours. The food was again outstanding. Service was friendly and patient with all of our questions. It’s fun to browse their unique items for sale. This would have been a solid 5-star experience except for one big deal. The bakery items they display are very appealing but I thought they looked a bit dry. We were there on Friday so I thought they have to be fresh since they were closed all week. I was hugely wrong. The items must have been left over from the previous week if not longer. They were so bad we couldn’t eat anything we had bought for the road and threw it out. A huge waste of money. They were so bad that I don’t think I would ever buy their baked goods again without assurance of when they were made and perhaps even after a taste test.

This was our second visit to Adobe. We simply couldn’t go too long without another portobello mushroom sandwich. It is a delicious and flavorful substitute for a meat patty. We also took home a veggie pizza, which did not disappoint! Adobe’s staff is so nice and accommodating, and dogs are welcome on the front patio. Plus, there are lots of different types of hot and iced drinks, as well as milkshakes and baked goods. Great stop on the way to Glenwood and Silver City.

Driving along the US-180 you come to this little Cafe & Bakery in Reserve, New Mexico. A welcome stop. The service and quality of the pastry is superb, specially their homemade “cherry pockets”. The owner was very friendly and took very good care of us. I would certainly recommend this place as you make a stop along this quite desolated road.
