Love this place. My first time and I was not to familiar with the menu. Maria was so welcoming and very friendly answer all my questions before my order. I order the Hamsy, with grill onions with a nice sourdough bread and potato chips made fresh. I’ll go back again. Maria it is the manager, OMG you talk about proffesional, so frienly and great knowledge of the menu.
They are great!
It is a big portion. I’m a flight attendant and ate one half ,and the other half after landing and the sandwich wash perfect.

Very chill atmosphere for breakfast dining at my gate. My breakfast quesadilla with sausage was delicious- it had a great spice mix that was sweet and savory in the sausage, and the arugula salad and salsa gave a great acididc balance. The French 75 was the perfect morning cocktail- I really enjoyed it

We ate breakfast at Drakes and it was the best airport breakfast I’ve had (and I’ve had many!). Crispy applewood smoked bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, hash browns, thick sourdough toast, a large glass of OJ and a coffee. Generous portions. Two of us ate for $50. (I would much rather spend $25 on a filling, delicious breakfast than half that on a mediocre McBreakfast.)

It was excellent all around, seating was easy, we had Jose as our server and he was excellent, made us feel very comfortable. Ordered a burger and the veggie pizza, they were delicious, we added the garlic fries and they were excellent. Prices were very reasonable for an airport restaurant. Terrible! Burger had gross smelling meat that seemed like a frozen cheap patty. The chips were flavorless. Server was super unfriendly and impatient. I felt sick later . The wings were good, but literally were served with an Empty Cup that should have had ranch! Looking inside, the cup was dirty as hell, so I’m glad I didn’t unknowingly eat out of that. Health inspector needs to check this place out! Yuck. Oh and the cocktail I ordered was expensive as hell, tiny, and shitty. Only giving 2 stars because the wings were good.

This used to be my favorite spot to eat at San Francisco International. Until today.
I made the phenomenal error of asking for bacon and avocado on my caesar salad with grilled chicken today.
Then I heard the grill cook shout to the waiter – “NO MORE CUSTOM ORDERS. TELL HIM IF HE WANTS IT HE CAN MAKE IT HIMSELF.”
I heard EVERY word the man said from behind the grill, VERY clearly. I have excellent ears.
Don’t worry, that’s the last time I’ll ever eat there. That’s unacceptable. The waiter could have merely said “I’m sorry, sir, we don’t do custom orders,” and that would have been fine.

This is a really nice place to sit and have a meal before your flight. The buffalo wings are tender, and taste great. The burgers are really good. And the cheese cake is your standard fare. The table service is really good here and the wait staff is attentive. The food is a little pricey, but you are eating in a sit down establishment.

Definitely have to try their “California Dreaming” burger, becon tenderly cooked with blue cheese on top, what’s not to like.
