Reviews
The system works because the food delivers. Plates arrive hot, glossy, and unapologetically aromatic—bold with garlic, basil, and chili, balanced by a restrained sweetness that avoids the syrupy pitfalls of lesser mall Thai. The pad Thai, in particular, stands out as a highlight, cooked to order rather than scooped from a warming tray. It arrives fresh and fragrant, with tender noodles and well-balanced flavors, though it leans slightly heavy on the sauce—an indulgent excess that ultimately reinforces its comforting appeal. Proteins are cooked with intention, vegetables retain their snap, and sauces cling rather than pool.
What makes Ruby Thai Kitchen remarkable is not that it exists in a food court, but that it transcends it. The line is proof of trust earned over time: a shared understanding among regulars that this is the one place worth waiting for. In an environment designed for immediacy, Ruby Thai Kitchen has achieved something rare—anticipation.
The name RUBY THAI is misleading. Perhaps the chef is Thai but the cooking is more likely Chinese takeout style.
That being said… I had the $10.50 curry chicken with veggie fried rice. It wasn’t bad and I did eat all of it. The food is okay and it’s quite busy each time I walk by.
Don’t come here expecting anything resembling Thai food except for the name.
The pad Thai was so delicious and juicy. Loved the flavor.
0/5 – Dishonest Pricing and Rude Service
I ordered the same exact meal two days in a row — rice, fish, and spicy shrimp ×2. Yesterday it cost me $34. Today, for the same thing, they charged me $40.
Not only are they up-charging daily for identical orders, but the staff are rude and careless about filling orders properly. There’s no consistency, and it feels like they’re just making up prices as they go.
This isn’t just poor service — it borders on consumer fraud. The mall administration should be monitoring these kinds of shady business practices. If this continues, it deserves to be reported to the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection agencies.
Avoid this place. Save your money and go to a restaurant that values its customers.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They made my order and handed me the wrong one. I come back to tell them and they give me attitude. If hospitality is NOT your thing, STOP running a restaurant.
This is a place for regulars. You know what you want get it get out. It’s a food court. If you’re annoyed it’s not traditional Thai or that they couldn’t specially make your wontons without gluten, you may not want to eat in the mall food court.
It’s clean, fast, and delicious. Modestly priced. 5/5 stars.
