Come explore our grab-and-go (or sit down) cafe tucked inside the historic Woodbury House on the Rum River in Anoka, Minnesota, also home to The Mad Hatter House of Curiosities and Tea Parlour. The Rabbit Hole offers tea, lemonade, sodas, signature tea latte’s, so many wonderful flavors of scones, and several other sweet treats. We also serve salads, sandwiches, soups, and snacks. Join us after 4pm for our patio menu, which includes salads, picnic plates and charcuterie, crab cakes and other fried goodies, flatbreads, and more! The patio menu also offers wine, beer, seltzers, sangrias, mimosas, and mocktails.

We walked in randomly looking for a cafe to sit and drink coffee. But little did we i know the mad hatter only drinks tea. This place only serves tea at the cafe. The restaurant only takes reservations. But despite all the setbacks, the staff was friendly and the drinks are great! The teas are amazing and new to me. I will be coming back casually for the teas and maybe set a date for reservations next time.
Also the outside patio area is great for photos and casual sitting and reading.

When going into this house I didn’t know what to expect. I really find myself enjoying tea so I wanted to try a dedicated store. I ordered the Chesire, its unique could not describe the flavor. I dont think I was the biggest fan of this but I am willing to try some other ones. The prices are quite expensive I spent 8$ on a 16oz. The environment was spectacular as its in a historical home. The customer service was good.

Love this new addition to the Mad Hatter Tea House! I tried one of their lattes and a scone, both were great. I’m especially excited that they have some unique and fun scone flavors, not just your boring old blueberry. This is a great way to get some of the Mad Hatter ambiance without having to make a reservation or plan ahead (although don’t get me wrong, I love the full tea service as well!) I definitely plan to come back and enjoy a treat on the patio too.

Best new lunch spot is this legendary tea house! I’m so excited it’s open for drop in business now. What an incredible historic place, and the tea and food and available in the cafe fits it perfectly. It’s like a coffee shop, but better, with more personality and everything made chef-fresh. Stopped by the Mad Hatter on a beautiful Saturday on my bike. Had an excellent refreshing ice tea and a great chicken salad on croissant sandwich. I sat on the patio, enjoyed my lunch & the beautiful scenery.
