My wife and I visited Soar on Valentine’s Day morning and surprisingly there was no wait time. We were greeted immediately by a host and seated within seconds of walking in. The restaurant is designed really well except one flaw which I’ll mention later. The food was pretty good for the most part. I made a rice bowl and it was delicious and my wife got biscuits and gravy which weren’t too bad but definitely didn’t stand out. The service was quick and non-intrusive. Our server was managing a handful of tables but still managed to check on us a couple times. The main reason for the 4 stars isn’t the food, it was the atmosphere. Although the place is designed well, the area we were sitting in was very noisy due to the clanking of dishes being cleaned. Some of the staff was very loud while in the kitchen as well. Their voices were almost echoing around our table. Other than the noisiness, this was a fairly good experience when it came to the food and the service. There is also plenty of parking available. I would go here again.
I got a Christmas coffee flight and everyone in the group shared it by using spoons! It was yummy! The staff is very friendly and give great suggestions. Everyone enjoys their food and time at SOAR
SOAR Cafe offers a great space for gatherings, meetings, or parties.
The space is bright and elegant, and also gives your party some privacy in your own room.
For our party we ordered cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, hash browns, and two varieties of quiches. And everything came out delicious!
We also had a lemonade seltzer bar that made everyone feel fancy, it was quite the treat 🙂
And the best part about SOAR Cafe are the people. Service here is unmatched, everyone is so nice and they just wanted to do anything they could to make our special day even better.
Our wedding shower went perfectly, everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere of this beautiful Cafe.
My Fiancee and I look forward to coming here many more times in the future to remember the amazing day we had here.
I would say that the price was more than I expected for 2 drinks and food pictured.
But this is a program that I believe in supporting so that made it hurt a little less. And honestly in this current economy EVERYTHING feels too expensive!
I got the French dip with hash browns as a side and this is about $16.00.honestly most people would love it I’m sure they grilled the cabata bread with butter .
Honestly hard to taste the beef but you could taste the butter, high quality beef but not enough of it to cost $16.00 , this isn’t a French dip that makes you want to come back for it, Nothing special the dip was good light brown rather than the dark brown ajus that’s expected..
