With so many excellent local specialty coffee shops popping up nearby, the only way Starbucks can stay competitive is through service excellence. Unfortunately, this location is falling short. The staff seemed highly distracted, and there was a noticeable lack of customer service. It feels like a management issue—the team needs more discipline and focus before loyal customers decide to take their business elsewhere.

Rude employees, will have inappropriate conversations with coworkers in front of your face instead of greeting you and giving you your total. Went through the drive thru this morning and spent probably 10-15 minutes waiting for just the person ahead of me to recieve their order. When I pulled up, the worker ignored me when I said hello and handed me the pay machine. I then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for my drink to come out. I’ve never had to wait this long for a drink at Starbucks. I understand if they are understaffed, and if that’s the case, the employees should consider focusing on their job instead of getting sidetracked by inappropriate conversations.

20250910 wow! Topped the cup with pumpkin cream until it spills out the lid!! Woohoo! The pumpkin cream chai with soymilk is extra delicious today! The young barista with the hijab was so pleasant and sweet. Thank you!!
A year ago…I was thinking about their donuts and decided to stop in on my way home to get one… they didn’t have any. Davy’s the barista at the drive thru suggested that I go to Dunkin Donuts. If I wanted Dunkin Donuts… I would have gone to DD. I told him “it is not the same”. And he responded, oh it’s not. Has he not had a Starbucks Donut? Anyway, I opted for a Danish and a venti green tea lemonade with 4 pumps of sugar cane. They were good.

Long time customer, first time reviewer. I do mobile in-store pick up orders in the mornings at this location on my way to work. I’ve had timely service and if there’s been any issue, once I’ve alerted staff they’ve been quick to help!

There are plenty of Starbucks and other coffee options in the area, but I’ve been really pleased with the service here and the quality of the product – consistently good coffee!

Rude Location, the young gentleman working the drive through around 7am 11/13/25 needs a different job where he’s not talking to people, while they might be upset about something most people in that drive through are just trying to get some caffeine before heading to work to deal with their day if you aren’t met with rudeness you shouldn’t have to start with it either

Like the friendly personal and the atmosphere. They have a lovely corner where you can sit in bigger chairs with a few tables around or on the big table with many seats. There are many places/ sockets where you can charge your cell or computer. Restrooms so far all the time in a good clean condition! Great as a “drinker in” you can get your coffee in a mug and not in a paper cup!

Came into this Starbucks this morning. Only 2 customers inside, sitting already. I stood at the counter for a good 4 minutes while 5 employees worked behind the counter. No one did good morning, well be right with you, nothing. I finally said with a smile, “Are you all open?” A small lady rolls her eyes at me and says, “someone will help you in a minute” then proceeds to speak in her microphone for the gentleman to help the front line, though he was standing 3 feet from her. He turns and helps reluctantly. I’m really surprised from an ashburn shop with all POC working there. Maybe some standard customer service training needs to happen.

Barista had problems understanding English and got my and my guest’s order wrong. So frustrating for us.. since I tried to be kind and understanding…after trying to correct his response!! We’re also paying top dollar for our order!!!!
Also the site didn’t work on either of our phones.. so we couldn’t get our “stars”!!!! By noon.. they were out of most pastries !!
Please hire people who are proficient in English or just hire them to make the beverage!!
