We have eaten here twice, the first time was the night they opened and everything was good and everyone was sooo friendly.
However, tonight we invited friends to celebrate Christmas. We did the “join waitlist” option which is fabulous! We only had a short wait once we were at the restaurant. We ordered a snakebite appetizer, it was good but really gooey on the inside. We ordered our dinners and here’s where the problems start, one salad with no cheese arrived with cheese and an extra side of cheese and the wrong dressing. Then our entrees arrived, one potato had cheese, even though it was sour cream and butter only. The one potato that was supposed to be butter only was butter and sour cream. The steak that was medium well came out very rare. Our waitress never apologized for any of the incorrect items, she blamed it on someone else every time. We asked for horseradish for the prime rib and that came after dinner was finished. We asked for a bottle of A1 and had to wait for it and when it arrived, there was barely any in the bottle. Our waitress did drive-by check-in’s by which I mean, is everything OK and move on not waiting really for a response. Then our check arrived, and we were charged for the appetizer which was supposed to be taken off with our coupon. We were charged for the extra cheese, even though it was supposed to be no cheese. Our waitress when she finally came back, said she would have to have the manager adjust our bill. She brought the new bill back and said we should pay on the credit card machine on the table, but it was stuck with the old bill on it. When we finally got her back to the table, she said she would take care of it, but then she proceeded to take the battery out of the table pay system, but then couldn’t get it back in. She finally took the bill and credit card and was able to check us out. Still no apology for the inconvenience just blaming it on technology and the manager, and anyone else that she could think of. Our friends that we recommended this restaurant and we had this horrible invited to this dinner had never been here before, and I can guarantee that they will not be back. I feel so embarrassed that we recommended this restaurant and we had this horrible experience. By far the worst customer service we have received in a long, long time.

This was my first time ordering from this location. I placed an online to-go order scheduled for pickup at 7:15 p.m. I initially arrived a few minutes early without realizing it, and the order was understandably not ready yet. A polite young gentleman informed me it would be about five more minutes, which aligned with the scheduled pickup time.
However, when I returned at the designated time, the order was still not ready. I ultimately received my food approximately 30 minutes later than expected.
The food itself was very good, as expected. That said, I was disappointed with the portion size of the half slab of ribs. I have ordered this item many times from other Texas Roadhouse locations, and the portion I received here was noticeably smaller—closer to what I would consider a quarter slab rather than a half slab.
Overall, the quality was good, but the delay and portion size were disappointing.

We got to the restaurant before 4pm. They were not real busy . This was February 21. We were seated at our table. The waitress took our drink orders. There was 4 adults and 1 baby in our group. When she brought out the drinks she brought everyone’s drink except my sisters. My sister ordered a sweet iced tea and so did my granddaughter. Not sure why she didn’t make two of the drinks. We had to wait for her to bring the drink to her. We placed our order and we had ordered potato skins as our appetizer. We never got our appetizer even after bringing it to the attention of the person who brought out our salads. We would have told the waitress but she never checked on us. Then they brought out our meals and my grandson has just started eating solid food so she ordered him chicken nuggets and broccoli. They never brought his food. Once again our waitress was no where to be seen. We asked to talk to a Manager and we had to end up asking fir a manager twice before one showed up but not before our waitress came over and said she had heard we wanted to talk to a manager. We told the waitress about the food we ordered and never got. No apology at all. The manager finally showed up but instead of coming and talking to us first she talked to the waitress. The manager came over and said she would remove it from the bill and said if we needed anything else to let her know and she turned around and left. No apology nothing it was like she could not be bothered . The servers name was Dessaray and I can’t remember the managers name because she just gave us her name when we were first seated and didn’t say her name again. What ever happened to customer service? The table behind us had another waitress she was constantly checking on them. The food was good but the service was terrible.

So full honesty, its a brand new place in a small town that’s going through a huge change. Their still working out the kinks for sure… so we’ll give em some slack, well a little…
To many mistakes last time we went, I marked food as 1 star because we never got our order. Ya see somewhere between the bartender putting it in and the kitchen, the order went missing. Waited 40 min for a rib app only to be told it was never made. So simply asked to close out and be done. Oh not so simple, apparently only a manager can remove a food item, was having no parts of waiting any longer. They could see that was not the right answer. Waited for food that never showed, then waited for a manager, who never came. Unsat, no apologies, no beer is on us, no manager ever came over to us… not cool… Don’t wind up like Applebee’s did, locals will just stop coming, ya may be able to survive a year or so on the newness, but long term survivability…

I’ve been here three consecutive times. The first time was very bad. Rolls were undercooked, Waitress was very careless with checking in on our table, & food is coming out mediocre to low quality. Second time was a lot better. The waitress this time was better food came out good the first time. The last time service was bad like the first time we weren’t even given plates for our rolls initially. I had to get up and ask for them. Are waitresses flirting with a possible coworker that was off shift eating there. Ribs came out poorly and looked smaller than usual. Wasn’t given any sort of wipes with them. My mother’s food came out burnt/overcooked. Just seems like a lot of the workers are just standing around instead of checking the tables, and ensuring that the customers are enjoying their experience. I had high hopes for this Texas Roadhouse. I might just start going to the one in River city again if I want things done right.

Tonight my family and I celebrated my birthday at this location, server was Seylena. ( Selena) it was 10 of us split into tables with just her to assist us. She did a fair job. A few dishes came out much later than the main course, one steak was supposed to be medium rare but came back 2x medium well with small pink center. But overall we enjoyed the food and fast service from the kitchen and bar staff. Everyone sang me happy birthday but my server that made tips off us. Will give it another try later on with a smaller group.

The food was good but the kitchen service was terrible. I ordered a small sirloin medium. It came after a very long time well done. They took it back to bring another steak and I was totally full of bread and salad by the time the small steak came out. This is the point, the manager brought the steak and acted like I should be happy about it. The person with me had a full meal and had finished by the time I got my steak. The manager finally said she was sorry and that’s it. So I expressed that the steak should be free since I waited so long to get it. So she gave me the steak free but I left feeling like I had done the restaurant an injustice. I realize this restaurant has many customers and I’m only one but if everyone is treated like this you won’t have a lot of business. If I was a customer that turned the place out you would have said that’s a bad customer. But I didn’t. I was polite and cordial as I could be under the circumstances. At least acknowledge that your service wasn’t good and attempt to act like you do want my business again. Public perception is everything. That one flunked the test because I didn’t leave pleased, I left disappointed.

My boyfriend and I went and ate @6:30 and they were slammed!! With being slammed, we got our appetizer within 3 minutes of ordering it, our side salads came out perfect timing a little before our food. And our food was there within 25 minutes. Food was great. My burger and his steak were both cooked perfect! And the service was absolutely fantastic!

I am local to the area and today was our first visit to Texas Roadhouse in Kingsland, Georgia. I knew the opening would be a bit chaotic and there would be some Growing Pains, so we decided to wait a couple of months and we are so glad that we did. We loved the atmosphere, it was live and vibrant. We were greeted with a smile at the front desk and seated within 5 minutes (arrived at 1145a on a Saturday). The individual that walked us to our table was very friendly and let us know that our server would be with us soon. Within a minute our server, Kaylee, arrived with a smile. Our server was knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. We placed our orders and within 15-20 minutes our food arrived at the perfect temp and cooked just the way we ordered. While we were waiting for our food the manager, Sam, stopped by our table to ask how everything was going. Our server checked on us throughout our visit and we were never left waiting, she was prompt with drink refills and bread. This is one of the better dining experiences I’ve had since moving to the area 5 years ago, and we are looking forward to our next visit.

I do not go to Texas Roadhouse very often, and tonight I was reminded why that is. There was a group of 11 of us. We were there celebrating my aunt’s 59th birthday. Epic fail. There were several issues with this dining experience. First off, our blooming onion appetizer did not come out until we were finished eating our meals whereas we also had to remind multiple waitors/ waitresses about the appetizer. Secondly. Our drinks stayed empty for more than 15 minutes. My steak and my partners steak were cooked medium rare which is what we ordered but my friend ordered a medium steak and it was absolutely well- done. My other friend did not get one of his sides that came with his meal and at that point he did not even care to wait on it . He told the server to not worry about it and to just forget it. We had to ask for steak sauce twice, before we got the attention of a manager, who brought it to us.
We mentioned that it was my aunt’s birthday a couple times to different staff members and they never sang Happy Birthday to her. We are pretty sure the table next to us had problems with their orders to but I do not know the specifics. The food isn’t the problem. But getting a well done steak is. Also not getting refills and having to ask multiple times for steak sauce and having to remind the servers about appetizers & sides we never got is also a problem. Not acknowledging my aunt on her birthday is aswell. Overall, just a lousy experience this evening. Really wish we would have taken my aunt someplace else to celebrate. Frankly, we have no intention of returning to the Texas Roadhouse in Kingsland anytime soon. Possibly not ever.
