Lovely wee meal stumbled across this place tonight, mostly a takeaway with a few wee tables… Had never been before and we sat in. Great well cooked food, nicely presented and tastey.. All enjoyed it… No complaints and great service.
Big thumbs up
Keep up the good work would definitely return

Home Wok Glasgow – Honest Review
I ordered from Home Wok Glasgow through Uber Eats. First of all, their food is halal, which is great. I’d recommend eating at their place instead of delivery — they’ve got a few tables and chairs, and the dine-in experience would probably be better.
I tried the wonton soup, which was a bit too salty for me. The chicken dumplings were good, spring rolls were crispy and tasty, and the Szechuan chicken set meal was also nice. I also ordered the deep-fried shredded beef, which many people seem to love, but honestly, I didn’t like it at all.
Also, for anyone from Pakistan looking for Chinese food similar to what we get back home, this is not the place for you. The taste is more local to Glasgow than desi-style Chinese.
Overall, it’s a decent halal Chinese spot, but I’d suggest trying it in person rather than ordering online.

This place is so so cozy and welcoming!! The staff are lovely and were super apologetic when they had run out of certain ingredients, even going to the effort of giving us fortune cookies to make up for this, and of course we didn’t mind at all. The food was absolutely delicious and served in nice big bowls. I enjoyed this shop very much and the food kept me very warm

I come crawling in my highs and lows to eat here often, the food is so good and they have an array of vegan, vegetarian and halal options! the salt and chilli chips are to die for… best in the world and the staff are very kind.

Ordered from here a few times in the past and it’s always been at least okay at the very worst. However, I ordered some kung po chicken last night and it was vile, resembled nothing like a king po chicken should taste. Myself and my friend ordered the same dish and both of us thought it was horrible, the sauce was full of vinegar. Genuinely the vinegar was over powering. As a result I will never order from here again. Stinkin!
Edit: the owners reply, shows the professionalism of this establishment.

Food was so bad got a take away paid £17 for a special combination with some small bits of chicken and duck skin no duck meat at all and some bits of beef! Paid extra for extra egg didn’t get it. Portion was tiny! And with some bistro gravy was not nice at all! The potions on everything was small. Never again!!! Took 2 hours for delivery aswell I would avoid takeouts

I discovered this place first back in 2019 simply by working as a gig delivery driver. Easily one of the best chinese in the city and the quality now is just as good as back then.
Chef is one of the nicest people that I know and he runs his restaurant to a very high standard. You are missing out on some amazing food if you haven’t tried yet.

Probably the best Chinese food i’ve had in all the UK. Their crispy beef with white rice is always my go to order and it never disappoints. The staff are always nice and the shop has such a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend !!!

Just ordered food via Uber eats, delivery service is good, but the taste just barely meet my expectations. The steamed prawn is the worst I’ve ever had in Glasgow, the worst texture ever but sold in £7’19. As for the chicken fried rice too salty but ok. The only good item was the chicken wings. When the price level is fixed you definitely have so much better choice instead of this one, with more authentic and cost effective choices.
