Our food was not bad but the service horrible. Our waitress had zero listening comprehension skills. I knew we were in trouble when my friend had to repeat her order 4 times. My order wasn’t correct. I asked for only cheese, lettuce, and sour cream on my tacos…yes they came out covered in onions. I asked for refried beans (lots of Mexican restaurants have refried beans or charro beans) and the waitress took it upon herself to take that to mean I wanted no rice. When I asked where’s my rice the waitress brought me rice but charged me for the rice that should’ve come with my taco dinner. We had to ask twice for basic drinks like a bottle of beer. I’d advise go somewhere else to eat.

Drove by the area and was hungry and decided to stop in. The restaurant was empty for a Saturday at noon. Music was playing. Art and atmosphere and food very authentic. Food was delicious and their guacamole and chips delicious will I drive an hours to come here again. Yes. They have a salsa bar.

Had the flautas dish and horchata. The owners granddaughter Gabby is awesome and has a wonderful personality. The flautas and horchata are handmade and they taste as good as they look. It is wonderful going to a place and enjoying the food. This place should be rated higher than it is!

My wife mother-in-law and daughter went there a few days ago the place is excellent! Amazing salsa bar with all fresh ingredients nothing from a can! Owner was on site and introduced himself to us. Family run business affordable prices family friendly great food beautiful ambience and a marvelous selection of foods and salsa! We loved it and are actually on our way back there tonight for another round! This place comes highly recommended has a magnificent ambience and vibe. All that coupled with the downtown Lemont area and great customers and great management is a win-win! Margaritas and RumChata margaritas were spectacular and very affordable there are daily specials on the weekdays Taco Tuesday $2 tacos you can’t beat that as of this moment there are two dollars not sure if they are raising their prices in the new year but what a great value!

Loved our dinner at Morenos! Wife had steak tacos and I had the quesabirra tacos. Both were excellent. Lots of meat. Served hot and full of flavor. The rice and beans are quality – not like that cheap kind most Mexican restaurants serve. Chips are tasty and the full salsa bar was fun to try a bunch of different ones. Will def be back – weekly if they start serving fresh margaritas!

Food did have the authentic touch…but needs more flavor/seasoning. It’s almost as though things were purposely blander.
The salsa bar is a great idea but some were definitely watered down same for the agua horchata. My favorite salsa was Molcajete style
