Wow what a great little restaurant…. Dined in alone on at Tuesday at 1115a. This place is very well decorated and beautiful inside. The tables, chairs and boothes are are new and modern. The entire facility was clean and comfortable. A sign near the front door directed you to sit anywhere.
I was quickly greeted by a server who was polite and helpful. Before the pandemic this place had a salad bar but like everyone else has had to adjust. When I told the server I’d like some sort of an entree salad she went and talked to the kitchen. They made me a turkey club salad. An item they don’t even have on their menu but should. It was excellent. The food tasted great and looked visually appealing.
The facility is nice. The speed of service was good, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable. I would definitely eat here again if I’m ever through this area. And I encourage others to give it a try… great job Karen’s Kitchen!

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Karen’s Kitchen–the pancakes were amazing! Holly was our waitress and she was delightful–great service and very personable. I might drive through Kimball just to enjoy a meal at this cute cafe!

The food was delicious and the service was great. We got the special of the day, chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes and corn. It was the first time I’ve ever had it, and it was phenomenal! Great local restaurant with a tasty home style flare. Highly recommend 🙂

As a customer I am personally impatient. Karen has a business that is ALWAYS busy. I will wait at times but the wait is ALWAYS worth it. Karen will provide you with a very good meal every time. Everyone that wants to visit needs to know that local residents know where to consume a great meal. So the race is on…you must arrive before the locals!

Had a western omelet was very good and the service was great. I love dining that small towns have to offer they are usually the best instead of chain restaurants. I wished I had taken pictures of the meal but you’ll just have to take my word that it was very good. You won’t be disappointed.

What a find! We drove up to Kimball from Colorado (200 miles) for a visit with friends and found this wonderful place…..Karen’s Kitchen. Food was excellent, service perfect, and the atmosphere of small-town America fabulous. This could be the ‘poster child” for small business entrepreneurs across America. Will return in the near future to sample Karen’s prime rib….we were told it is their signature dish. Can’t wait!!!

This is the cuties little hometown place I have ever been. The food is all homestyle meals and owner is in the kitchen doing special orders. Holly was our waitress, she is kind and hard working. Prices are amazing and food was delicious

This place was absolutely adorable!! All of the staff was FANTASTIC! We came in a group of 30 (with no warning) and they exceeded all of our expectations. Our waitress was attentive and worked at a fast pace! Super comfortable restaurant with very cute decorations too.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch as we were traveling through. The staff and owner were all very friendly and and the food was great and and it was around $20 for the two of us. We plan to stop here for breakfast tomorrow on the way back. If you are driving down I80 it is worth the short hop to to eat here.
