Nice place but as the sign says, don’t be late they close at 8:00. We were on an Iowa tenderloin tour and this one was average compared to most that we’ve had. Good crunch but lacked any standout flavor. Friendly staff, though, and a nice place as far as decor inside.

Chicken breast sandwiches and pork loins are huge and taste great! Worth the stop!

Cool little place in a cool little town. I had the fried tenderloin, and Iowa favorite from what I understand.

Once voted best tenderloin in Iowa, that’s the only real thing to order. It’s bigger than the bun. The fries are alright, too.

Traveling through from Columbus Nebraska and stopped at Larson’s Pub. They claim to have the best tender loin sandwich in Iowa and they didn’t disappoint! It was awesome. Service was fantastic, and our serve, Danielle, was the best and made you feel welcome…Most highly recommended.

Best tenderloin sandwich I’ve ever had. Check the hours of operation before planning on a side trip…or stop by the local antique mall in their off hours.
There’s a surprisingly high quality feel in the little pub. I look forward to going back!

Excellent service and food. Stopped by one day for a light lunch. Ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich and onion drops (fried onions). The tenderloin was extremely tender and wasn’t overly fried, crunchy on the outside of the breading and then softer towards the meat. The onion drops were fried to perfection as well.
At first, I didn’t think there was a bun until I ate some of the onion drops. So much for a light lunch! I’m from the Elk Horn area and live in Arizona where you have trouble finding a tenderloin, let alone an excellent one like this!

The Tenderloin was thin, but not so thin that it was dry. Breading was good. I understand why they were voted Best Tenderloin in Iowa a few years ago. The breaded Cauliflower was delicious, also. Next time, I’ll try their Cod. All sandwiches were $6.50.
