I’m British, and came to visit family in Georgia. I was recommended this shop, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else! I haven’t tried the food from the tea rooms, but after my experience, I don’t think I would. Going in, it’s very small, which is fair enough for this way of the world, as British culture isn’t that big over here. Not much selection of food, but what they did have was extremely overpriced. The older lady, who i’m assuming is the owner, was very hostile and rude to both myself, and my family. My brother asked for the date on something, and she shrugged him off with an ‘I don’t know, they come in frozen’ and that was the end of that… I asked if she had a restroom, and her reply was just a stern ‘yes’, no indication of where they were. I had to actually ask where the restrooms were, and she looked at me like I was dirt. I truly don’t recommend coming here, it’s not a true representation of our British culture and hospitality!

This spot is PHENOMENAL, to state it lightly. Not only is the fayre 100% authentic… it is 100% delicious!
Ms. Francis is a wonderful hoot and true delight! She goes above and beyond to source as ethically and sustainably as possible, and incorporates carefully selected ingredients into a seasonal menu.
From the tea, to the pastries, to the salad dressing! You can taste the love in every bite!

A nice little spot to have a cup of tea. The atmosphere feels very personal. The menu includes a few tea options and enough dishes for more than just tea time. The store contains a pretty wide variety of imported British food and candy to take home with you. Definitely worth a stop for lunch and dessert.

Food was great! The cauliflower soup with asiago – delicious! The quiche was super good, not a good idea to ask the cook for hot sauce, her response “what for?” Service and food was great, also the company!❤

Took my daughter here for a tea We had a reservation but when we got there the staff was fixing a vacuum cleaner on top of one of the tables. They had little to no interaction with us. We had the sampler and really didn’t like much of it except for the ham sandwiches. It’s a little pricey and I just expected more. The food and table looks pretty; just not that good for almost $50

Me and my friends had a wonderful time here. Tony was an amazing host and made the experience 1000 times better than it already was. The food was incredible, the tea selection was perfectly varied, and there was a great selection of U.K. snacks and drinks. I will absolutely be coming here again.

Always try to stop in when we are in town. Today’s choices were PG Tips tea and the Steak & Ale potato pie with a side salad and tomato soup.

The food was very good, Tom our waiter was very nice and attentive. They change the menu from summer to winter and some items that was available in summer may not be available in the winter. The British Pantry and Tea Room is small but quaint and reservations may be required for larger groups.
There is a store in the restaurant that has English items for sale. This place is more for women then men. I would definitely go back.
