Nehemias is a great server! He was very attentive and checked in multiple times! My steak and eggs came out as I requested and was delicious! I had hot tea just to find out that they serve Tea Forte teas (any tea drinker knows tea forte sets the bar!!). Overall 10/10 experience for the restaurant.

The bar experience wasn’t as 10/10 due to the late night waitress attitude but oh well.

Let me save anyone from eating at this god awful restaurant. We stayed at the hotel and thought it would be convenient to eat at. Good god it was the worst meal I ever had. I ordered the fish tacos and the tortillas were stale hard. The fish was so overcooked I couldn’t swallow it. My daughter had the caprese salad. The mozzarella was ok but the tomatoes had that grittiness when they are over ripe. My neice had a pasta with meat. The meet was inedible she just ate the pasta. Since we all hated the food (the truffle fries were the only ok thing) we thought dessert was in order. The s’mores cake sounded great but this is probably the only sweet I’ve seen us all turn away. They took off the dessert (the waitress actually said after the fact that it wasn’t a good one to choose) and my dish. In the customer service business they should have comped the entire meal as it ruined our night. Stay away!

The good thing about the food was that the chicken was tender and juicy. Everything else is a no.. the food was over seasoned, the salad too sweet, the potatoes too salty, overall it was not worth it. Not coming back

I just watched a woman of color experience the HIGHEST level of racism! I watched the manager Darrick treat a patron so bad my hear hurts for her. I’m so disappointed I want to check out

I was in town for work and wasn’t really on the move touring or looking for food far away as I needed to be local, so I basically had almost everything this place had to offer on the menu. The Barbocoa was absolutely their best dish on the menu so a quick shout out for that dish. The burger was pleasantly good as well, the chicken sandwich pictured with coleslaw and chipotle sauce was delicious as well. I had truffle fries for both sandwiches but they had regular fries and sweet potato as well for those in need of other options. The chicken empanadas were really good, so was the “Torta”. Didn’t really like the arroz con pollo but you can hit them all can you? Haha. Enjoy your meal if you are staying in the hotel itself it’s beyond convenient and open late with a wonderful looking bar.

The carrots cacke was off the hook. The ribeye steak was so juicy. Me and my cousin had a great dinner while changing the tesla. Great experience once again.

The breakfast was trash. Its the same continental breakfast you get everywhere else for free except it’s $100 for 2 people. The same powdered scrambled eggs, rock hard pancakes and bagels as everywhere else.

Too tired to venture out to find food and ended up eating in the hotel restaurant. PHENOMENAL vegan options for such a small menu. I wish I got our waitresses name because she was one of the best servers I’ve had. She remembered my dietary needs and made sure my order came out of the kitchen correctly. A must eat while in DTLA.

Excellent contemporary cuisine. The Metropole Bar + Kitchen is located in the lobby of the Hotel Indigo in downtown Los Angeles. The menu is available in the bar area as well as at tables, and both have a chic atmosphere. The breakfast menu had granola crusted challah French toast, served with powdered sugar, berries, and maple syrup. Lunch and dinner menus have a cheese board and a grilled cheese with fries (the grilled cheese had plenty of bits of crispy cheese that seeped onto the grill!). Service was prompt and friendly.

Wasn’t impressed. The food looked good but was overpriced and bland. Service staff kept forgetting things and didn’t seem that interested in helping. Got sat at a table that wasn’t completely set and didn’t have all cutlery. Sat at the table for ages before even offered a drink. When I got a drink I got half a glass of wine and they said they would get me a full one next for free but I got charged for it. Didn’t have everything on menu or wine list either so had to choose a few times to get something they had. Won’t be returning. Can spend less money for a better meal elsewhere
