Went in at 11am today. Spent $45 for two burritos and four tacos. Hardly any cilantro or onion on the tacos, only two small lemon slices total and few jalapeno slices. Burrito was mostly rice. They used to be good when they first opened but the last few visits have been very skimpy and the customer service is definitely lacking. Even though they’re only two blocks away, this morning will probably be our final visit. Could’ve gotten better food at the dollar truck behind food 4 less for less than half the price.

Usually a group of us go in Thursday after 8:30 pm. They are always happy to help us. We rearrange the tables so that we can all sit together and always put tables back when we are done. Calm vibe and employees are friendly. There have been times when they run out of a certain meat but it’s late and it happens. Food is tasty and everyone is always looking forward to next week’s visit. Oh and the music is a vibe

This place just sucks! I orders tacos and there was nothing but fat. Also they barely put any meat on the taco with no green sauce. I dont eat onion but I like cilantro and they have it mixed so you dont get a option just a plain tacos that is mainly tortilla. These tacos aren’t even worth it on the weekends when there 1$. Absolutely the worst tacos I’ve ever had hands down!! And on top of that they charge 0.50 cents on each taco for sour cream. Believe it or not that was all I tasted, what a terrible experience!!!!

Great food at a better cost. I got the carnitas cheese fries. Nice portions, topped with nacho cheese, mozzarella cheese, and sour cream. The carnitas is pan fried on the griddle and has a great crunch to the meat. This place can get busy during lunch so call ahead.

Terrible customer experience!!!
So surprised by the staff at this location. I was refused a cup of tap water even though I am a paying customer. I will never go to this location and possibly any others ever again. It’s a shame I was denied a $0.10, cup even though I spend nearly $1,000 a year at their other locations. Staff needs better training. I was called a Karen for suggesting that they honor the free tap water law. The staff then told me they can give me water but they won’t give me a cup, knowing I did not have a cup in hand. Then she told me she thought that I thought the tacos were overpriced. Somebody please train this girl and tell her to clean her fake eyebrows while you’re at it

I love El Grullito! I stopped by once for a burrito, and it was exactly what I needed. The service was quick, the food was super tasty, and I was on my way, completely full and satisfied. The flavors were on point, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. It’s the kind of place you can rely on for a solid meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to whenever I’m craving some great, fast Mexican food

Came to try out the $1 tacos and was sadly disappointed, came 15 mins before 5 had to wait the 15 mins no problem. But to then receive all the tacos with no sauce after stopping after each order to ask what kind of sauce I wanted mild or spicy. And then I get to the container at the bottom and get what’s in the picture is just unacceptable. Won’t come back even for the cheap tacos

Some days the food can be so good and full of food . And theirs other times when it’s cold , soggy and I barely get any food on my plate . Also the amount of times the food melted through the styrofoam tray , I don’t know how this isn’t an issue . But the food is Mid , it’s a hit or miss .

I came here with my daughter to order take out because they weren’t answering their phones(6/4). We tried to find parking for 15 min before I finally sent her in and drove around while I waited for her. The food came out quickly and we rushed home to enjoy our tacos. I got home and the order for my son was missing. So I called the restaurant and was happy they answered after a while. I explained the situation and that they forgot one of our items. The woman just stated she couldnt take orders over the phone and hung up. I called again and she immediately hung up on me again after answering
I called one more time and explained simply again that I just wanted to come back and get my missing order. She once again hung up on me. Now im irritated as someone who gas worked in the restaurant business for 18 years. Hanging up on a customer is crazy work. I went in and explained again, and it was obvious she didn’t care at all. She tried to write it down and ring it up and I said no I already paid. I just want my missing item.
Needless to say I left empty handed, and told her and the man helping her that there was no excise to treat their customers this way, and I wouldn’t be back because of how they treated me.
