We just ate here for the 1st time & we both got the lunch buffet. SO GOOD and fresh! Grilled or fried pork chops, fried chicken, collards, mac & cheese etc etc etc….country staples. Fresh salad bar, desserts and did I mention biscuits and cornbread? Wonderful, friendly service and very clean dining area. Good job!

Unfortunately, my experience at Brenda Kay’s was not one to write home about. The pork chops were fried beyond recognition and taste, the fried chicken lacked seasoning, and the vegetables were all canned, lacking any seasoning. Waitress was friendly, saving this experience from being a total disaster.

Oof… the atmosphere was totally off. Gives nursing home vibes. Tea was so watered-down looked like water. The chicken was okay. Refrigerated hot sause was a NEGATIVE also.Not sure why it’s listed as buffet. There’s only 2 meats …3 sides and salad and 2 cakes to choose from. I didn’t enjoy.

Food is awesome and prices are incredible. Don’t waste your money at 521 Filing Station, go here instead. Better food and prices. Club sandwich is awesome and the best slaw I’ve ever had. They even had a Veggie burger which was also awesome. 10 out of 10.
