Quality is very important at Crust, so there are some things we do differently that set us apart. All of our cheeses are shredded from block form in each location daily; our cheese never comes pre-shredded in a bag. Our dough is made fresh in house at each location multiple times throughout the day.
Carefully produced pizzas, plus calzones, pasta, subs & salads, served in a warmly casual setting.

We arrived around 1:30 p.m. for a late lunch. The restaurant had only a few diners at that time. It was airy, bright, and clean. The TVs were on but without sound, which we appreciated.
Matthew (manager) and Brent (chef) were very friendly and professional. Since we were there after the lunch rush, they had time to chat and talk about the menu offerings. Brent was a rockstar, recommending several options. His favorite was Madelyn’s Alfredo on cauliflower crust. The mushrooms were fresh, not canned, which I really liked.
I had never had cauliflower crust before but had always wanted to try it — I highly recommend it! Matthew suggested the Crusted Goat Cheese Salad, which was big enough to share with a pizza. It was very fresh and a nice complement to the meal.
My dining companion had the lunch special, 2 for $12 — a great deal. He chose the personal pepperoni and sausage pizza and the meatball sandwich on flatbread. Very tasty! We loved the crispy, flavorful crust and the just-right amount of sauce on both the sandwich and the pizza.
We asked for both pizzas to be cooked just a bit well-done, and our request was granted. We had leftovers for snacks later!
All in all, these Chicagoans will be back! There are several daily specials — I bet this place gets busy in the evening. Enjoy! Thanks, Matt and Brent!
Updated (3/3/26): Last Dec, the owner reached out and he was nice about it and offered a free pizza to give it a chance. At first I declined till recently, I decided to give it another chance in hope that it will gets better. This time I had Big Don (picture attached) and well, if you see the picture on the website, it was not the same- little cheddar and toppings are not evenly distributed (again) and some toppings were few. I should have checked if it was prepared from the same guy as before or not. Considering the price for this pizza- not worth it. FYI- I have tried pizzas range from cheapest to expensive- never have any issues with their toppings. This is a first for me. While the owner is nice and I want to praise the lady who takes order (same lady as the last time)- she is an amazing worker/person to interact with! 5 stars for her.

We will absolutely be back!
We actually went inside to eat on a Monday night. Wasn’t crowded, found a table easily. We ordered the Carl’s King pizza. Our pizza came out within maybe 15-20 minutes, was hot and good!
I happened to order the crusted goat cheese salad to take for lunch the next day. I was surprised at how small it was for the price I paid.
The salad was excellent, just overpriced in my opinion.
They just opened and it’s very obvious. First time I ordered for pick up and stood there wsiting for 30 minutes past my pick up time. I was given a coupon for a free 10inch pizza for the trouble. We went to dine in the second time and the trouble started at the counter, they couldn’t figure out how to enter the coupon and then they ended up deleting the entire order. We got our food and the salad was incorrect and both 14″ cauliflower pizzas had more than an inch of BURNT crust showing all the way around, basically the same amount of toppings as the 10″. They then tried to serve two additional salads after we had already received it. They could tell we were frustrated and brought out an unprompted 10″ cauliflower pepperoni on the house, which we gratefully accepted. We will give it another shot in a week or two.
I’d also like to mention that we do eat there every week. Yes our order hasn’t always been perfect, sometimes they are busy and things take a little longer, but they are always quick to try and help make it better. This store has grown week in and week out, so if you tried and were disappointed early on.. id recommend giving them another shot!
Food, atmosphere, and staff, 10 stars!
