When I first started working in Jamestown I was told to stay away from the Subway, I thought “how bad could it be?” I was actually very happy with the location and service. I have since been going here for lunch about once a week or so for a year. Spencer has always had an infectiously good attitude and it’s always a pleasure to see him. Im not sure who worked here in the past, or what caused people to stay away, but it’s one of the best Subways Ive been to. Spencer is doing a great job running the place.

I have never had a worse experience than tonight at a Subway. My bread was doughy on the outer part where it connects. It squished and stretched and was yeast. Most of the bread was okay, it was just the outer bits and some of the inside. We called in to tell the store. We were calm and understanding (as mistakes happen, we’re all human) up until she called us liars. I told her I’d bring it in to show her and she said that we would have to bring it in tomorrow to show her manager. That was unacceptable to me since the bread would be hard and gross by then and the evidence just wouldn’t be there. So we did drive up there just so I could show her because I didn’t appreciate being called a liar. She barely glanced at the sandwich and said there was no dough. I tried to tell her where it was and she talked over me the whole time until I shut up. So we were told we were liars again and she didn’t want to take any accountability. I just wanted a replacement bread at this point. I’d put all my veggies from the old sandwich on the new bread and she said no, there’s nothing she can do. She had a very rude tone and said “I TOLD you guys on the phone there’s nothing I can do and to not come in.” She said again that we needed to come in the next day. I said the proof would be pretty much gone by then and she said once again there’s nothing she can do. We asked her name and she gave a very obviously fake name of “Mary Smith.” I was trying to be very understanding since mistakes happen. I wasn’t even asking for much besides accountability and new bread and I would reassemble my sandwich myself. But was denied my meal, called a liar, and shooed out the door. I didn’t want to get her in trouble. But we were treated terribly anyway and she refused to acknowledge the mistake to try and cover her own butt. I’ll never go here again. And I think I might be done with Subway period.

I would rate a zero if I could. The level of service was abysmal, the lady that was working that day couldn’t have been more rude. She openly yelled at me for asking a simple question in front of other people in line, her name was Mary Smith. If she is there, walk out and go somewhere else. I feel embarrassed, beat down, and left that place in a terrible mood. I shouldn’t have given them money but I needed to get dinner. Avoid at all costs.

We placed an order on our way through town. Not only was the restaurant very clean, but the two employees got our order for 10 ready fast! Thanks to their labeling I was able to hand out sandwiches to our 8 kids with ease! That alone gets 5 stars from me!

Went there during a storm Mary Smith was there she got the 3 subs toasted before the lights went out she completed our order (using the light from her phone) knowing we couldn’t pay and sent us on our way. That’s Excellent customer service!

The new management was wonderful today! After previous managers attitude I refused to come back! But when I heard someone else took over I decided to give it a shot! So glad I did! My food was fresh and hot! And the customer service was great!

Awful, Rude, terrible customer service and discriminating Manager!!! Placed order online through the app…payment was accepted and approved, when I arrived the one Employee there said “your order didn’t come through (although I had the confirmation # and app showing my order was ready for pickup) the worker said she’d need to call “the owner” at that point I just wanted my Money back!! At which “the owner on the phone said ” that wasn’t going to happen” and “a manager” that lived right down the road to “TAKE CARE OF ME” 5 Minutes later the unkept, rude, aggressive Man walks in..and rudely say “so what’s your problem ” I Explain to him that I had placed an order online. The app showed that it had been made and was ready for pick up end. My credit card was debited and it was approved and taken out of my account. His response was.
That wasn’t his problem. And if receipt doesn’t come through, they don’t make the sandwich. Even though I had a confirmation number and showed him that it showed it was ready. He then Became Irate yelling, stating that this is a private owned store “And that the owners of the subway are foreigners and don’t even live in this country” And that I wasn’t getting the sandwich I ordered. Or a refund. I will never go back to jamestown subway ever again!!! I would give it zero stars if I could…

Great service, very friendly and helpful.
Food was only ok, bread was clearly older and stale and some veggies were past their prime. Next visit the food quality was worse, the lunch meat was old, had a strong odor and was not edible. Unfortunately this location is well below what I expect from Subway and I’ll never go back.

Cindy, #825 was rude and my sandwich tasted terrible. I interrupted her cigarette smoke break and she treated me like trash! I will NEVER eat there again and I hope this store closes down. I feel so sick because of the rotten meat and moldy bread. The store was filthy!
