The hoagie I got, THE JOSH, wasn’t bad but it was was more in the neighborhood of those roadside fundraiser sandwiches rather than something I’d expect to get at a dedicated deli sandwich shop and certainly nothing to write home about. The prices are beyond insane, for HALF a hoagie/chips/pop (with no extra toppings) was $19 and was still hungry after.
I’d gladly pay $25 if it was something that blew me away (meats seasoned or smoked in a way I couldn’t get anywhere else, mustard and dressings that are homemade and tasted like nothing I’ve ever had before, etc) making my taste buds pulling me back for a second sandwich regardless of how full I was. Unfortunately it was just impressive sounding cold cuts on a slightly better than average bun. Easily could have picked up all the components at the giant eagle deli and assembled them at home for same price or cheaper.
Will say service was extremely friendly but the entire front of the counter was covered by boxes and bread. There was like 2ft open to order and that’s it.
Was really hoping for “awesome” but only got “decent” and at best I’d say it was a slightly upscale Subway and add in the price point equals I won’t be going back.

Charging $17 for a six-inch sandwich and then adding extra for each topping just doesn’t make sense for the value you’re getting. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t improve things—the owner came off unfriendly and unwelcoming, which makes a big difference when you’re running a local business.
The space itself also feels underwhelming. It lacks character and still has the same feel as the previous Subway, just without the consistency you’d expect.
I genuinely hope things improve, but right now there are clear issues with pricing, atmosphere, and customer experience that need attention.

Glads Deli takes the overpriced food philosophy and cranks it up to 11. they skimp on the meat while charging extortian worthy rates. want a topping? thats 2 bucks, oh you want two? 4 more dollars and better hope we dont forget to put it on. at least five guys is smart enough that when you charge 25 bucks for a burger and fry the toppings are free and you get extra fries in the bag. to make you feel like you are getting a deal. Glads Deli takes the overpriced food philosophy and cranks it up to 11.
This doesnt even begin to describe the poor attitude of owner, Jason Billingsley. He believes he was owed something in life, that we as a public at large owe him success and appreciation. We dont owe you anything, Jason. You have to work for what you get in life. People arent going to suck up to you because you decided to start a business. Its a dog eat dog world. Im sorry your prior business failed because you gouged prices and gave poor effort. When people give criticism, listen. When customers are angry, listen. Do not go to your Facebook Sycophants and complain and moan that one person didnt enjoy their meal and left a negative review. You are a Business. Every Criticism isnt a personal attack.
If you do not learn from your mistakes, you will fail. Good Luck.

The hoagie was good.
But not $29.98 “good” plus $1.90 for pickles that they forgot to put on plus $1.26 “convenience fee”.
$33.14 total for one hoagie and you forgot the pickles!
I get the same size and a better one at Jersey Mikes for $14.99.
C’mon man.

We had 2 of their hoagies at the new location in penn township. They were full of meat and toppings. A 6 inch was plenty for me. The staff being new, were still very polite. Met the owner and he was very appreciative of the opening. Can’t wait to purchase more subs and different kinds.

My hoagie had all the potential to be a great sandwich But the bun was not fresh and was crumbling apart from being stale. I’m sorry but the person wrapped my sandwich up after seeing the bun was ripping apart which isn’t cool for a $38 sandwich. I really had high hopes for this first sandwich from Glads but it didn’t live up to expectations. The staff was very friendly and nice but that only goes so far. I’m willing to try again since the flavors were good and staff was friendly.
