Drove 20+ miles for a soggy waffle cone with an extremely sugary ice cream cone. The rainbow sherbet ice cream is no better than the multi-color gallon ice cream from a large box grocery chair store. Very disappointed.

We had a wonderful time and this quaint ice cream shop! Beautifully landscaped and Spencer was very kind taking our order from our excited kiddos!! We loved the ice cream, choice of flavors, and even choice of flavored cones which made it unique! They had pretzel cones, standard cones, and orange creamsicle, chocolate, and strawberry flavored cones. We enjoyed the patio seating. We’ll be back plenty this summer!

My husband and I recently hired the Blue Heaven team for dessert at our wedding in Fontana. We aren’t big cake people and wanted to do something a little different and fun! The owner, John, was super organized leading up to the event and even had us come into the shop for a tasting to pick out flavors and toppings which we loved!! A nice bonus was that they had a few non-dairy ice cream flavors and sorbet options to choose from for guests that might have dietary restrictions. We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the ice cream and the cute cart!

There’s 5 Ice cream shops in Fontana/Williams Bay. Blue Heaven is our favorite. 24 Flavor of Ice Cream. My fav=”This &$#×#! Just got Serious” and “Peanut Butter Chunks”. Generous portions. Cone or cup.

Yummy ice cream and will definitely return. Felt sorry for young families who arrived by bicycle, that there was no place for the parents to have their children wash their hands both before and after consuming their ice cream.

The ice cream was yummy! My Mom (100!), my husband and I had a variety of ice cream: praline pecan, loaded Oreo, raspberry, vanilla with hot fudge, raspberry lemon Italian ice, moose tracks! The outside seating is pleasant, umbrellas on the tables and comfy chairs!

Edited as of June 2025: First, I still love Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream flavors. But ever since there has been a change in ownership at Blue Heaven, I have noticed a price increase and decrease in serving size. For a single scoop in a cup it is $6! So for my husband and I, it was $12 for two small cups of ice cream. It is quite expensive for a small amount of ice cream especially when the scoop size is notably smaller compared to previous ownership. I get that everything is more expensive now and businesses need to make a profit but this seems rather inflated especially when I can go to Daniels and get a gallon of Tillamook ice cream for $8/$9. I want to support my local folks and businesses around here but it sometimes feels like prices are geared towards making the maximum amount from tourists and it’s your locals who will really be there for you year round.

Great little shop. I assume it’s a seasonal thing since it has no indoor seating.
They had customers when we went, but we were still able to get a table. When we drove by on other days there was a line half way around the building.
The ice cream was good, thick and creamy. The variety isn’t quite what you might expect at a larger shop, but it is more fancy than just the standards.
