Mirabelle is an elegant, character-filled dining destination — perfect for celebrating an especially memorable evening. Its strengths are in the ambiance, inventive and artful cuisine, and high level of service. If you’re expecting blockbuster portion sizes, it might leave you wanting more; but if you value refined flavors, thoughtful plating, and a cozy, romantic setting, it’s among the top in the Vail / Beaver Creek.

Absolutely stellar dining experience. Everything about our dinner was perfect- the service, atmosphere and food. This is hands down the best food we have ever eaten. We ordered the four course “Le Menu Gourmand” and it was a delightful and delicious experience. Each course was as beautiful as it was scrumptious and each one was cooked to perfection. You can taste the passion and creativity that Master Chef Joly puts in each dish. We loved the elk tenderloin and the dessert symphony was spectacular. They even wrote “happy anniversary” on our dessert plates as my husband and I were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. Thank you Mirabelle and Master Chef Joly, for a delightful and unforgettable anniversary dinner. We will be back!

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. In two words: bland and boring. It stands as the worst fine-dining experience I’ve had and feels wildly misaligned with a Michelin star.

While the service was good and accommodating, the food was outright poor. I have never been served an unstable dish, especially at this level, yet the tuna was unacceptable: completely unseasoned, nearly frozen in the center, paired with cold asparagus and sour quinoa that tasted spoiled. The lack of execution and imagination was astonishing: a protein simply plated with a few slices of unseasoned vegetables, no sauce, no imagination.

This pattern repeated throughout the menu: flat flavors, lazy combinations, and a complete absence of creativity. At times, the food felt closer to a mediocre grill pub than a fine-dining restaurant.

The goat cheese ravioli were dull and flavorless. The pear salad was basic and uninspired. Desserts showed no elevation or finesse; aside from a passable pistachio ice cream, they were indistinguishable from what you’d expect at an average restaurant.

The bar program mirrored the kitchen’s shortcomings: safe, predictable cocktails with no visual interest, thoughtful garnishes, or flavor twists, entirely forgettable.
Ironically, the strongest elements of the meal were the bread and the soups.

Overall, $700 later, this was a deeply disappointing experience that does not come close to justifying its Michelin recognition. Save your time and money and eat somewhere else.

The food was absolutely delicious, we were amazed by the beautiful presentation and flavors. The desserts in particular were among the most unique and wonderfully plated we’ve seen. They have a very nice little bar area to grab a cocktail or a glass of wine before dinner as well!

French cuisine is a unique experience.

This beautiful French restaurant serves a delicious slice of French cuisine. The French palate can be a little tricky for Americans, some of my party felt that the food lacked a bit of the punch that they were used to (the Sweet Summer Peas Ravioli and Summer Yellow Corn Soufflé to them felt a bit lacking in the flavor they were used to). However, if you chose wisely your options and have an open mind for an international palate it should be quite delicious. There is a kid’s menu for the less advanced palate.

I had the Hot Foie Gras as the starter, that is paired with a Sauternes that really enhances the flavor tenfold. I then had the Colorado Rack of Lamb, which is really more of a single lamp pop with a bit of extra on the side, than an entire rack. Nevertheless, it was extremely flavorful and perfectly cooked to my liking (rarer than the normal medium-rare)

Although the food portions are small, in traditional French tradition, it should be enough if you had breakfast and lunch. You don’t go to a French restaurant starving it is supposed to be a relaxing meal to enjoy with friends and family. It you are really really hungry after skiing or a bike ride, I suggest WYLD, they will fill up your empty stomach tank American style. No, but this is French cuisine and is about more than the food. It is also about the service, atmosphere and the company you are with.

Mirabelle and our server *Buie provided us a lovely time. Overall we were very happy and enjoyed our time.
*Apologies if I spelled your name wrong.

Overpriced and old school. No mains below $50. Would’ve been fine if the quality was good, but unfortunately a bit underwhelming. The lobster bisque had a tiny piece of lobster and tasted massively of thickening. Main was ok but not worth the price. Our waiter was great, though!

We have eaten out at most of the restaurants in the Vail Valley. For some reason we had never made it to Mirabelle until last night. I was a little hesitant to take out 6 of our friends who are all major foodies because of the reviews that say the portions are small and food is underwhelming…. Believe me these people have absolutely no clue what they are talking about! The service was amazing, the atmosphere was terrific and the food was the best we have had here EVER. The portions are perfect. We all left as full as we could be and not one person had a trio to say negative. The salads (tomato), the chicken, the salmon, the diver sole (finally diver sole in the states that isn’t fried), all delicious. Every dessert we had (we tried them all) were so so good. We are already talking about our next visit there and what we will eat next time.

Mirabelle was a phenomenal culinary experience!! We went here while in Avon, CO with a dear friend. We were climbing a 14er the next day so we only did mocktails.

Lobster bisque was light and creamy. Foie gras was divine. The elk tenderloin was the best anywhere.

Topping dinner off with chocolate fondant tied the beautiful meal together.

Truly a spectacular Michelin restaurant!! Bravo!!
