Let me tell you about Gavones:
The grandma hot honey pepperoni is off the freaking hook delicious. The crust was really sturdy with an excellent balance of chew and crunch – the fresh mozzarella was rich and didn’t run in the slightest bit – the pepperoni was just on the edge of char with a generous drizzle of hot honey. This has got to be one of my favorite iterations of this slice.
The regular pie is super balanced with a perfectly salty finish, devoid of greasy cheese, and nicely browned.
The staff is friendly and the prices are super fair.
I have two very good pizzerias less than two minutes from my house and I will be making the trip out of my way here instead.

Little spot on the highway, everything is freshly prepared.
The two young ladies behind the counter were very kind. Seemed like they enjoy working there.
Mozzarella sticks were great. Wings were a little dry but still okay.
Garlic knots were TOP NOTCH!
Will visit again when in the area.

My family and I were over on Oak Island, by a long shot we called Oak Neck Pizza to see if they delivered to us, and they did! I can’t thank you enough, no other place would have said yes! The server on the phone was so polite and the delivery driver was also so helpful!
Our food was hot, delicious, and delivered in no time. 10/10 would recommend and would order from here again.

Oak neck pizza is quietly a real gem of a restaurant that I feel gets passed up on for whatever reason. Food is extremely delicious and I highly highly recommend them for catering. Best penne à la vodka with chicken I’ve ever had and their Rigatoni Riorentina is a unique dish and excellent. they have an excellent lunch special and Their salads are surprisingly fantastic as well. I do think they are a little behind the times compared to some other pizzerias, but they know how to make high-quality quality food! Always verify the pricing before ordering because they do need to update their prices advertised online. I’m also really enjoying their new staff. Try them out.. especially for catering. Bibi works on Sundays and she is so pleasant to deal with.

We used them for a 30 person catered party and usually go to them on a normal basis as well! However we and all of my guest were overly impressed with how well all of our 7 trays we ordered from them for our party came out and would highly recommend them for any occasion. They even catered to a few of our vegan guest which I was grateful for. Thank you oak pizza for doing an amazing job this past weekend!!!
