I went in after a long day of work and boy was I surprised by the quality of service!

They had great servers, very attentive and excellent energy.

Then the food in combination was also freaking amazing. I’m a SEA person and it definitely was authentic.

The skewers had that herbal flavor and texture to them, in addition to the Lao sausage. I’m not a huge papaya salad Laos style fan but my friend said she loved it!

I personally enjoy smaller Lao sausage because it allows the skin to be crispier but this one was packed fuller and with a good traditional herb flavor.

I’m not a fan of the meatballs as i felt they were missing an extra umph, like a sauce (not the typical sweet chili sauce) but without a sauce it needed something savory from the meatball seasoning. It had a good texture but lacked the savory.

I personally enjoyed the loaded fries the best, the shrimp that was deep fried with the fries were perfectly cooked. The shrimp still had a good and firm texture with the outside being super crispy.

All and all, definitely a place I’d come back to.

Bonus points: They played all kinds of S.E.A. music, bonus points for hearing Hmong music here randomly.

Glad to find this hidden gem. We ordered beef ball skewers, which came with 12 beef balls. They tasted great, very tender and flavorful, especially with the chili oil. Kapoon and papaya salad were delicious too

Cute little place. Decent food. Room for improvement. The drunken noodles were a bit chewy. The taro was way too sweet. The tables need to be rearranged so the walkways between tables don’t be right at the hanging lights. We hit the lights a couple times coming in and out of the table. Service is half-serve which means have to order and and pay upfront, but the server did bring our plates, food, and drink to the table. I’m happy with that.

If you are looking for REAL and delicious Lao food, this is it. I’ve gone to multiple places from Turlock to Stockton and it’s very hard to find a place that can make good papaya salads! I was very satisfied with what I ordered. Everyone has their own taste but this place is worth it in my opinion. There use to be an authentic Lao food location in Ceres called “Sticky Rice” but was closed down and ever since, I was not able to find good Lao food.

Came back here 05/05/2025 and the food was still great and consistent to what it was before!

Delicious food, I ordered the chicken laap & the stuffed wings. Both were very good, the spicy beef sour soup is amazing & so flavorful! The chicken skewers were also really good: will be back!

Also the wonton with cream cheese are the best I ever had!

This place is soooo good. I keep going back frequently and haven’t tried anything that I didn’t like yet!

I’m also vegetarian and I’ve been able to sub tofu for meat in most dishes, or I just order the dish without the meat. The sandwich I got with tofu is perfect. They just made some wontons without the imitation crab, and they’re probably the best tasting cream cheese wontons I’ve ever had! Seasoned and with onion!

But hands down, the two most favorite things I have tried are Nam Khao and Kapoon. The soup is perfect, warming and filling when you are hungry. The noodles are insanely soft and it’s spiced just right when we ordered mild heat level. Nam Khao (ordered without sausage) is unlike any other rice dish I’ve ever had and the flavor was amazing.

Their drinks are also super refreshing! I had one that tasted like pina colada and it was so great on the hottest day of the summer!

I don’t know… I’m a fan! I’d recommend this place to anybody – even vegetarians. 🙂

A hidden gem . You wouldn’t expect to have such a good food option to eat here. Had very delicious option. Everything tasted good and lovely. Workers were nice. Enviornment looked friendly. Everything was delicious, the only thing is that I wished the Laos papaya salad would taste a little better. Other than that, everything was yummy

I did curbside pick up. My first time visit today. I was at my kids football game and in the heat wanted something yummy and I didn’t want fast food so I remembered how I’ve been wanting to try this spot out. They did not disappoint! I got the crab cream cheese wontons. And a pork sandwich both were soooo good I definitely recommend

Kapoon and the Sea Fries were excellent! The fried rice salad and the chicken noodle soup were fine. The noodles were a little too soft.
