Bustling joint adorned with bric-a-brac for saucy BBQ ribs & brisket, plus wine & draft beer.

This is not Southern BBQ. I say this because I specifically asked where it originated from. The waitress said Tulsa. There is no salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, Season All, pepper. NOT A THING. I said I wasn’t a fan and she said well you ordered it so you have to pay! And told me there are people that love this BBQ. It’s because they haven’t tasted ANY OTHER. The sandwich is $21.99. Now I am going to be honest and tell you I’m a black woman from TEXAS that BBQ’s for my family all the time.
THE LAST PHOTO IS MY BBQ! PERIODT!!

Reaaaaaly good barbecue. Ribs and pulled pork very good. We split a combo plater with an extra side was enough for us and no doggybag. Local drafts a good choice, give it a try when in town… just a short walk from hotels.

Yummy food. Great service. It was a good warm stop on a rainy day. They were open late in the season.

Excellent BBQ especially for an area of the country not known for BBQ. Very good, friendly, helpful service. The aesthetics and atmosphere were decent and fitting for a BBQ joint. We had the ribs which were outstanding and chopped brisket which was very good. The creamed corn, which was not all that creamy was outstanding. The baked beans were very tasty but also had a lot of liquid. The cole slaw was decent but I personally prefer my slaw a little less dry. The cheesy grits missed the mark. We would definitely go back again.

As tourists, we wanted to try American food and this is one of the places to do so. The 1/2 rack spare ribs were tender and juicy, very delicious indeed. The pulled pork dinner was not bad, you would need to add the source provided to make it tasty.
The main courses all come with a piece of cut loaf bread (which seems quite a strange thing to us), and two sides of one’s own choice. We liked the Creamy Corn. The Cowboy Caviar had nice ingredients but the dressing was on the sour side, perhaps comes straight from the supermarket bottle. The Creamy Baked Cheesy Grits were very solid and filling, without much taste. The amount is very huge and we had to share the portions. It seems amazing to us that locals can finish such huge quantities by one person! The ambience is your average American diner. But we must say the waitresses and waiters were super efficient and friendly.

Great BBQ!!! If you’re in the area please stop in! Hot links were awesome and the brisket was delicious!!! My wife had the pulled pork and the kids had kids meals and picked off our food. Our server Jen was super nice and so helpful. Great customer service!

Everything was tasty! Prices are as expected for BBQ. Our server was great, attentive! They had delicious creamed corn, their beans are fire rolls for the sandwiches were delicious. The atmosphere is nice, right downtown. Wasn’t too busy when we went on a Thursday afternoon in August, surprisingly. Good selection of beers as well.

A great place to stop! The meat was all pretty good, we liked the brisket and ribs the best.
As for sides, the grits and baked beans were the overall favorite.
Little on the pricey side, to be expected per tourist country.
From when we ordered though it took at least 30 minutes to get our food which was frustrating.
They no longer have fries or Mac and cheese as sides, so just be aware.
But overall good

Stopped there with family heading home. I had pulled pork and wife brisket. Side was creamy cheese grits. The pork was average, nothing great. Also only had one choice of sauce. Grits were also average. Was ok for a quick meal but was pricy, which could be expected for a tourist town. Probably would not go back if in area again but try another place
