First time stopping here. They were having a Christmas event. It was so fun. Great service, friendly people, so much cool stuff. We loved this store.

Small town but big on hospitality. I was enroute to Fort Polk, and Bunkie was in the way there. Haven’t been there since 2009 when Big Daddy’s was open. I order the BLT with Double Turkey a light bacon and however they make it. Came with house made chips, seasoned with Tony’s. The sandwich was perfect. They hand make their cookies. Highly, highly suggest getting the salted caramel cookie a d praline. Its Christmas in your mouth. Will definitely come back.

The food is delicious and the employees is very friendly, I’m recommend stop on this place and reviews your experience. The owner explained why the name town is Bunkie and the mascot is the Monkey, very interesting the history I like talking to the people and each little town or big city.
Thanks for everything.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Griffin’s Antiques for the first time, and we were genuinely impressed. This charming shop, part of a growing network of small businesses, is revitalizing downtown Bunkie and breathing new life into the community.
As we wandered through the store, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere filled with unique treasures and nostalgic finds. Each section of the shop offered something different, making our experience feel like a delightful treasure hunt.
After browsing, we couldn’t resist sampling some of the delicious offerings available. From classic glass-bottled sodas to an array of locally made pies and pastries, our taste buds were well satisfied. We also enjoyed hearty brisket sandwiches and some comforting Louisiana favorites like red beans and rice and gumbo.
The staff made us feel right at home, embodying the welcoming spirit of the community. Their passion for the shop and commitment to downtown Bunkie’s revitalization truly stood out.
We’re excited for the future of the “Bunkie Buz” initiative and all the local businesses involved. We can’t wait to return to Griffin’s Antiques and discover more hidden gems. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out—there’s something special waiting for you here!

I’m completely enamored with this charming place! It is like a soda fountain meets general store meets antique mall. Ronnie was a hoot! Telling us stories about growing up in Bunkie while making me just about the best muffaleta I’ve ever had! The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Peach Pie milkshake. Rustic and nostalgic atmosphere, great menu, and even better company! 10 out of 10 we will stop again next time we’re down Bunkie way. ❤️

My friend had the chicken salad chicken salad. I had the pulled pork/cold slaw sandwich. Both were extremely good. The atmosphere is really friendly and the servers are very polite and nice. The food came out in a timely manner. The prices are very reasonable, also. This was a great dining experience.

My wife and I are riding ST on bikes. Stopped in Bunkie’s for lunch. Loved the chicken salad sandwich and BLT, with ice cold sprite in a bottle. My wife had great cake pop for dessert. I would have loved to enjoy a piece of pie, but still had many more miles to ride ♂️ ♀️. Got a great history of the town.
