It’s incredibly rare for me to post a negative review, but this place earned my scorn.

I went here looking for a lamb shish kabob, and I ordered it to the tune of $42…

I genuinely think that they gave me the leftovers from the last table.

Opened the container, and it was full of rice. Crunchy rice! With lamb bones mixed into it. No lamb. And soggy pita bread. The chef must have been mad at me? This must be a mistake…?

The baba ganoush had cinnamon and sugar on top. That’s…a choice. (Not a good one)

The tzatziki didn’t have any cucumber or visible dill… So it was just plain yogurt.

But those were just bad side dishes–

Worst of all: There was no visible lamb in the lamb shish kabob. Zero. Only lamb bones mixed into a pile of crunchy rice. This was probably someone’s leftovers.

I called the store to ask if they had mistakenly forgotten my lamb shish? I only received crunchy rice…? Perhaps they accidentally gave me yesterday’s leftovers?

He said, “That’s how the lamb is prepared; it’s mixed into the rice. If you didn’t want it that way you shouldn’t have ordered it.”

–Don’t worry; I’ll never order it, or anything here, ever again.

Taste of Jerusalem on Cervantes gets everything right—But this is a terrible knock off.

What can I say , I have never had Jerusalem quarantine before. I’m glad I tried it… it’s now one of my favorite places to eat when I’m in Pensacola…if you like ribeye steak this is the best steak I have had in quite a while… lamb chops was absolutely delicious… the goat was good I never had before acquired taste… I would give this place three thumbs up if I could… PLEASE TRY , YOU’LL NEVER REGRET IT !!!

I have heard and read nothing but great things about this place. I was greeted by Joe and he was very kind. I ordered the Beef Shawarma Wrap with a side of tabbouleh salad. It did not disappoint.

The Beef Shawarma Wrap was perfect. It has all of my favorites – pickled turnips, cucumber pickles, and onions. The toum was on the side. The tabbouleh was a bit different as it had bits of pineapple in it. Now I recently heard some places add the fruit to the salad and I was skeptical; however, after trying it, I am a believer. It complements the bitterness from the parsley.

A 10/10!!! If you’re ever in Pensacola, go there to get your shawarma fix!

Walked in on a Sunday. I ordered the beef shawarma and a side of rice. Inside they have plenty of snacks, drinks, chips, tea, and other imported goods. Service was good, taking 15 minutes from when I ordered. I recommend ordering in advance and then picking it up. Parking may be limited, if so park at Olive Garden. Food was delicious, and I would definitely come back! Also, there’s an outdoor eating area

The food is excellent in taste. True to regional ethnicity in taste. The elder who took our order took care about my food and made sure that the sauce was separated from the food. He took care to pack up our boxes so neatly, and we got bread with our order! Thank you so much, I wish we had tried it sooner!

Oh my goodness their food is excellent! We both had the Gyro platters. Mine was with tasiki and hummus. The other with tabuli. Tabuli was awesome and so was the tasiki and hummus. The pita bread is made fresh daily from their Mother’s recipe. Everything is so good. We will definitely be back!

Only downside to this location is it’s outside seating only in a very busy location near Cordova mall.
HOWEVER the portions were generous, both of us had lamb combo kebab plates and they were delicious. We both have leftovers for another meal.
I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes.

I usually love eating here and have always had great experiences. This time however, I was a bit disappointed with my falafel sandwich meal. My fries were so soggy and my wrap wasn’t made the way it’s normally prepared. It included cauliflower this time (which was a first for me), not enough falafels and unfortunately it just didn’t taste as good as usual so i couldn’t eat it. My dolmas are usually good too but mine were so greasy for some reason.

Mediterranean food is one of my favorites and Taste of Jerusalem food is OUTSTANDING! I lived in the Middle East for a period of time and when I tasted the hummus and pita bread, it couldn’t have been more perfect!!

My only recommendation is the gentleman that was taking the orders probably needs to find something else to do for a living. He has a little bit of an attitude and you can tell he’s burnt out from doing this! I felt rushed when I was placing my order and he acted like I was taking too long!
If it wasn’t for his bad attitude, I would have given a five-star rating.
