Only ate from here because wife likes $12 sandwiches that cost $2 to make at home and I thought I’d try it again. Order half bbq chicken with half salad. The sandwich had about 2 teaspoons of chicken and a sprinkle of bbq sauce to match it, mostly bread, costs $8!! Come on Panera!!!!! Salad was good, had 3Xs more chicken for $7.

The menu is extensive and you can order half or whole portions which is very nice. The service is excellent with plenty of parking available. The food is fabulous. I ordered half a Mediterranean salad and half a bowl of French onion soup. My friends ordered sandwiches and soup and they were impressed too. We got delicious sourdough bread too. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are fair considering how much food is served. I wish I lived closer to any Panera location.

I had received a delivery order that while hot caused the tulip cookie to melt. The journey it took for the food to get here was so long that the hot coco turned into …coco. The soups was like a lukewarm swimming pool in 80 degrees weather. The wrap covering the sandwich was like a wet hug.
Upon calling with sadness, because who wants their hot food cold, Manager Bea understood. She went above and beyond to take care of the matter at hand and with swiftness issued a fresh order to pick up. This was close to closing time. Yet Manager Bea did it anyways. How incredibly thoughtful. You made my night. Thank you Bea!

I recently paid a visit to the new Panera Bread located next to the Costco in Surprise, AZ, an area that has seen an incredible surge in growth over the past few months. With a slew of new restaurants, shopping, and grocery options popping up, it’s become a bustling hub for locals and visitors alike. Unfortunately, my anticipation was met with disappointment, particularly concerning the establishment’s cleanliness.
Despite it not being overly busy at the time of my visit, and an apparent abundance of staff on the floor, I was dismayed to find nearly every table dirty. Floors too seemed neglected, which left me questioning the oversight of management. Why weren’t employees prompted to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for customers? This oversight on basic cleanliness did take away from the overall experience. It also made me question how clean the kitchen was.
On a more positive note, the food was consistent with what I’ve come to expect from Panera Bread – okay, but nothing to write home about. It’s a reliable option when in a pinch, though not my first choice. Personally, I far prefer the offerings at Wildflower Bread Company for their quality and ambiance, but unfortunately, there isn’t one in this vicinity. Speaking of ambiance, there really isn’t any at this location, it’s pretty sad in fact.
While the convenience and location of this new Panera Bread are ideal, especially with the exciting growth of this area next to Costco, the lack of attention to cleanliness was a letdown. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive nudge for improvement. A cleaner environment would certainly make the dining experience more pleasant.

How does Panera Bread justify? Charging customers for such Mini sandwich and a bag of chips $8.69. on their menu, this is supposed to be a small size, but it looks more of a mini than small. $9.63 tax included..that’s my first and last time take out the Panera bread. there are many other places my money can go further and get bigger portion.& I asked the young man In the kitchen if there’s any choice of chips beside the one there was including my bag? He tried to be funny with his respond no, it’s only one flavor, but you will like it. I asked him how do you know I will like it? how do you know what flavor I like? It’s definitely not the one in the bag. as I was walking away, he says I’m sure he would like it. This kid is not mature enough to be working in the kitchen interacting with customers.

As with other Panera Bread locations, the food, drinks and deserts are nice and fresh with a great twist on same ol’ sandwiches you find at other deli places. Though the quantity of chips is lack-there-of. The employees are very friendly, helpful and kind. The facility is clean, but a little bummed at the dainty size of the restaurant. It is about the half the size at other locations which in turn makes this location fill up fast.

Now this is how you make a salad! I been to so many locations around the valley and this is the only location that knows how to make a salad right. Perfect portion of all the ingredients. Other places I get only like 3 pieces of chicken strips, very little items, enough to feed a 6 year old. They never messed up my order, always right either dine in, drive thru or pick up. Another bonus is customer service is always good. Dining area could be a bit cleaner, just depends on the day and time this location does not disappoint at all.

Panera Bread in the Prasada shopping area is always a fantastic stop. The workers are incredibly friendly and make every visit feel welcoming. Their tomato basil soup is rich and flavorful, and the grilled cheese is perfectly toasted and comforting. A consistently great experience every time.

I recently visited this Panera location and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience because of the manager’s behavior toward staff.( He has curly brown hair) During my visit, I witnessed the manager loudly yelling at a younger employee who looked visibly uncomfortable and scared. The way he spoke to her felt extremely unprofessional and created an awkward, tense environment for everyone in the restaurant. I also overheard the manager making jokes toward some of the female employees that came across as inappropriate and unprofessional in a workplace setting. I hope upper management looks into this situation and works toward creating a more respectful and positive environment for both employees and guests.
