Green Valley Brewing Co. (GVB) is a family owned craft brewery, taproom, and restaurant. We’re located in Hudson, Ohio just a short stroll from the town center. With roughly 3/4 an acre of fenced in patio and grass space, we view ourselves as a great community gathering space.
Our goal is to brew great beer and make great food. Come check us out!

We stopped here after some Cuyahoga hikes. It was a Friday night, but far busier than expected. The brewery was packed for live music and a private event. We were able to sit at the bar and make friends with a patron. The pizza special was fantastic. We enjoyed all 4 beers we tried and although they only had 10 on tap it was not a limitation at all. Service was good (even with 4-5 bartenders they were overworked). The atmosphere was good, they had a large outdoor area and seemed very kid friendly. We enjoyed the visit and would go again for sure if in the area.

I’d give it 4.5 if I could – the beer is flavorful, and the pizza is impressive/fancy. Gotta go with the prosciutto and goat cheese with fig jam – thick-cut, savory, and sweet. On the downside: bartenders/counter service didn’t know basically anything about the food or beer styles; limited indoor seating; and the free-roaming kids (who’d otherwise be welcome) almost became anarchic.

Arrived by bicycle and they had a rack out front to secure it to. Saw dogs were welcome. Large fenced in patio and yard with a much appreciated adults only section. Good initial impression Very busy on a Saturday evening. Many many children. Could use more seating. Small stage out back which had a decent cover band. Had their White Stout, which was tasty even if served in a plastic cup. Didn’t try the food. Seemed too busy to bother with, but there’s some eye catching items that I’ll keep in mind if I return on a slower day. Not really my atmosphere, but if I were a parent of some elementary children it would be great. I’ll come again, I’m sure.

I’ve been here several times and have always had a good experience! Every beer I’ve tried I have enjoyed. The stouts are yummy and so are the seltzers! They also have a good selection of mixed drinks . I’ve tried most of the wood fired pizzas on the menu as well as the special pizza of the week. The Elote pizza with Szlays corn is amazing! If you want a good Cuban this is the place!

We went here for the first time during holidays on a Friday afternoon. While not crowded, it was nevertheless hopping. Atmosphere was pleasant and upbeat and the dining room was clean. We ordered at the counter and found a table where they brought us our two beers and soft pretzel. I had the Winter lager and Bean had the Verdant Imperial hazy IPA. They were both tasty. We’d order them again. The pretzel was the best soft pretzel either one of us have had at a brewery – period. The pretzel itself was perfect but the cheese dip and mustard were also ridiculously good.
Now for the one negative aspect… When we went to go check out the suggested tipping levels were 25, 30 or 35%. Seriously?? I’m not one that usually complains about about tipping but frankly, this is insulting. You can go to McDonald’s, order on the app, ask for table service and they bring your order to you without a shakedown for a tip! It’s also a gross feeling when you’re standing at the counter to pay to to decline ridiculous tipping amounts to the staff who, in almost all certainty, had nothing to do with setting the suggested tipping amounts.

Very enjoyable. Love the energy, great courtyard. Kids playing, laughing; adults drinking, talking. Great pizza, nice alternate selection. A little chaotic with the food delivery but the quality covers many errors. The beer is on point. Nice selection and diversity of styles.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived around 12:30 so it was not busy yet. No problem finding a seat. You order food and drinks at the bar.
The place is nice. There is a large outdoor seating area as well, but since it was snowing, we did not check it out.
There are 12 beers on tap. The ones I tried were good. Those 12 represent various styles, so you should find something to your liking. We ordered a house salad and the Margherita pizza. No iceberg lettuce here. The salad consisted of mixed greens and was big enough to feed four. The pizza was great. Fresh basil and a great tasting sauce. The crust was light and airy with a nice chew. It took maybe 15 minutes before we were served.
Bar and kitchen staff were friendly. No complaints here, and I hope to be back again.

Great brewery, food, family…located directly 10 minutes east of CVNP/Peninsula OH. If you are looking for good Lagers and IPAs, with an outstanding occasional Stout, this is your place. Whether hungry after the hike or just looking for a great place to have a wood-fired pizza or sandwich, you are set. Salads, hot pretzels, hummus, and weekly specials are also available. A nice wine and liquor (whiskey/bourbon!!) selection is also served, so there is something for everyone in your crew! This is some of Ohio’s craft beer at its finest, that’s the real reason to go.

I cannot say enough great things about this brewery! Atmosphere was great! Nice indoor space (and private room for special events) and bar and really great big outdoor space. They also have adult only and family friendly sections. A ton of grass and playing area for kids and live music. The food and drinks were very good and don’t even get me started on the service. Absolutely exceptional! If I was Paul Hollywood I would give them all a handshake . They don’t have designated servers; it’s order at the bar and they’ll bring your food out to you, but when the bartenders had time they would go around to the tables asking if we needed anything additional. Bathrooms and the entire place in general was extremely clean too which was a huge plus. I strongly suggest the house made chips and dip!

Had an office Christmas gathering here on a Friday night. Paddy made coordination ahead of time super simple. Wood fired Pizzas were great as were the appetizers of pretzel bites and charcuterie boards. Party room perfect size for about 20-30.
