Awesome spot tucked in the side streets of 8 Ave of Sunset Park Chinatown. Getting a table was no issue at all—no reservation, no problem! Service was extremely fast and the portion to price ratio is extremely fair! Very chill and lowkey atmosphere. Would come again for easy dinner nights!

I typically never leave reviews but this place has to be the best sushi spot in all of NYC. The sashimi is fatty and fresh, although it might seem pricey the serving sizes are enough to fulfill your hunger and not be overstuffed. My favorite thing here is the Salmon-don. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious, not to mention the service is quick and the ambience is calm.

I’ve dined in once. Not bad. Fast standard service, no fuzz. Just hard to get parking here. I live 15 min drive away.
I’ve always ordered take out. It’s my policy to try ordering directly with the restaurant to help them save on fees.
Two times, via delivery direct with restaurant, the delivery person comes with their little motor bike. I don’t know if this is a hired person or the owner, but due to the attitude—I’ve stopped ordering unless special occasion and I go pick up. Both times, the food was not handled properly and things were shifted. Both times, gave an attitude about tip not being enough.
I’m not here to supplement your wages. My food is ruined.
Food is still good—but definitely just use an app for delivery. A dedicated uber/lyft/whatever will try to handle with more care. And with so many eateries opening around the area, they’re gonna have to figure that out.

I was surprised by the creativity of the menu. The sushi was very fresh, and the restaurant pairs many flavors and textures together, like uni and tuna and uni, scallop, oyster, and ikura. I loved the sea snails. The first had more meat than the second, but they were both delicious on their special whiskey sauce. Their green tea and lychee Calpico were also very good. I look forward to going back to try many more things on their large menu. The staff was friendly and let us take our time.

Service there was superb, always refilling our tea and making recommendations. Food was yummy. I loved the demon fried rice, it was spicy. Seaweed salad is fresh and not store bought frozen ones. The mussels were big and juicy. I loved the fried octopus, crunchy chewy salty peppery goodness. Good Ole French fries were crispy! Sushi was good too!

The portions are smaller. We ordered platter B. We paid $65 including tax for it. We will not come back.

Most of the salmon in the Philly roll’s looked like it is fully cooked. The taste was okay and the bento box was alright, the popcorn tasted blend. Everything else tasted good.

I’ve been here close to a dozen times and every time — To Date has been consistent and reliable in their quality, presentation, and service. This spot is perhaps Sunset Park’s best kept secret. I’m not sure where they source their fish but it is on par with many omakase spots in the city — at a truly unbeatable price. Their rolls are inventive and tasty, but literally any sashimi dish will guarantee to blow you away. Their Hokkaido and Tokyo dons have me coming back but their OMG roll truly changed my life.
