This is the #1 Culver’s I have had the pleasure of eating at. The #2 Culver’s is at 641 South Taylor Drive in Sheboygan. Both stores are clean, friendly and ran so well. The crew and staff at both of these locations should feel a great sense of pride. It’s them that make these 2 locations better than the rest. The other locations are great too but these 2 locations are my favorites.

On the road, a stop at Culver’s has all the best character of Wisconsin, besides butter burgers, cheese curds and ice cream. There’s a cod sandwich that just a dab of tartar sauce is the finishing touch. Staffing and delivery of menu selection is prompt, friendly without pretension. All the elements of the hospitality of a Wisconsin small town cafe; maybe the best reason to leave that interstate and find first hand what Culver’s serves with each order from it’s beginning in Sauk City Wisconsin to you.

Got cheese curds and ice cream. I’ve had my fair share of Culver’s cheese curds before but I could tell they were freshly made this time, they were warm and gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside.

I ordered double cheese burger basket with onion rings and chili supreme no onion and side pickles also two cheese sauces. Starting the gentleman that came out with order. I mentioned to him that I order onion ring not French fries. He was ok let me go get that for you. I was ok and then he comes back out says the manager said that they have up charged sense it was not on the receipt. Asked I still wanted I said no. ” Thinking in my head I was not the one that made the mistake why should I have to pay for it.” Tried French fries they under cooked. Took a bite of my cheese burger and their was onions on it that was under cooked as well. Remind you the cheese was not even melted. When I asked for ketup and mustard on it. I only ate the chili. Yes I threw away about $15.00 worth of food. I was not very happy about this visit. I understand we all make mistakes. It was not even busy at the time. I could see if was busy and having a opps. I go to Port Washington location and they could swamped with people and never had this problem.

I get hungry after sports. Specifically Basketball. And, I mean HUNGRY. I beg to get Culver’s here after. Every time I come here, I’m full after. I got a Mac N’ cheese kids meal, with Fanta, and Vanilla with Butterfinger ice cream, amazing. Service was good, fast. Atmosphere: Lots of cow photos. I mean, LOTS.

One of the better fast food places. Food was hot and as ordered with extra crisp fires. Only problem was the cheese sauce container had opened in the bag and spilled out. Otherwise a positive experience.

At first we loved having a culvers close to home! Was a really good place to go for a few months and then it went down hill. They get our food wrong every time now , fries were way undercooked, burger was cold. Ice cream was like it melted and then re frozen.
