This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Westchester. Modern with
Bold flavors. The guacamole was spot on, nice lime flavor and cilantro. I had the squash blossom special with garden vegetables was really flavorful. I had the vegetable enchiladas with tomatillos sauce big and bold.
Shrimp tacos and steak quesadillas were very good. I definitely will come back.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This is probably the worst restaurant in Westchester. They charge almost $20 for each shrimp taco which they didn’t disclose to me when I ordered because it was a “special” for the night. $20/taco isn’t even the worst part. I called to inquire about the high charge and they instantly put me on the phone with Johanna who is apparently the manager, owner, and chef. She was EXTREMELY RUDE when she got on the phone and basically told me “too bad.” She said their prices are justified because the ingredients are all locally sourced and I could fight it with my credit card company if I wanted. Whenever I tried to get in a word, she raised her voice and spoke over me. I am beyond disgusted with the way she treated me. And to be honest, the food wasn’t even good. It was soggy and cold and left much to be desired. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here!! I promise you will thank me. For reference, the attached photo is of my order for 3 items totaling $95.37!

It’s a local restaurant for us and we’ve never been. Snow was coming so we decided to go someplace close. Imagine our surprise- it’s terrific. Great food, attentive service and (sadly) it was practically empty on a Saturday night. We’ll be back. We had mango martinis, guacamole and chips (great guacamole), tortilla soup, corn, chicken mole. Honestly everything was great. My only minor complaint this that the menus is somewhat limited: no shrimp or fish. But other than that, some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time.

Quaint place, sweet ambiance and delicious meals! A nice treat for dinner. Food was served quickly and the wait staff was extremely attentive. My kids ate all their food. A def must when in Armonk! Will repeat!

We dined here yesterday with my daughter and her husband and had a fantastic experience. The reservation process was smooth, and the hosting was friendly and attentive. There’s both street and lot parking, but no valet.
Our main server was informative and pleasant, with two others pitching in for a seamless experience.
The food quality, presentation, and taste were outstanding. Highlights included freshly made guacamole, vegan options, and a farm-to-fork freshness in every dish. Popular dishes here include the enchiladas verdes, mole poblano, and shrimp tacos, each bringing a burst of authentic flavor.
The restaurant offers a unique selection of special cocktails, from fresh margaritas to mezcal creations, each carefully crafted to complement the rich flavors of the cuisine.
With an artistic spirit, Chef Joanna brings her Mexican roots to life in every dish, adding unique flair to the menu.
Overall, Mariachi Mexico is a place worth visiting for a special Mexican dining experience. Enjoy!

Great food, simple and clean and healthy. The one star deduction is purely based on price. It is over priced for the food. Don’t increase quantity but reduce price by $3-5.

Best Mexican restaurant in Westchester. We’ve been there several times and the food is always beautifully prepared and delicious. The chef/owner uses fresh ingredients she purchases that day from the farmer’s market, and the dishes are inventive and wonderful. It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Food was delicious – beef tacos were terrific, veggie enchiladas as well. Prices are a bit wild and the farmers salad is just a few cups of romaine with some wild flowers. It was delicious but $22 for a few cups of romaine is a bit outrageous.

It’s a crime that Mariachi does not have a 5 star rating. People are complaining that it’s too expensive, but they don’t realize how much time and effort (and $$$) goes into sourcing high quality ingredients. High quality ingredients are necessary to making a dish shine, and whenever you dine here, you’re getting only the freshest seasonal ingredients. The chef sources local ingredients and will visit the markets herself to hand select everything. My compliments to the chef as I enjoyed every dish I tried, and I particularly fell in love with the esquites.
I’ve tried hundreds of restaurants in the NY/NJ area, and this is in my top tier of favorite restaurants that I would recommend to anyone.
Unless you’re not a nice person, then you don’t deserve to eat such delicious food.
