We tried Giuseppe’s Brooklyn Oven and had a mixed experience. The calamari was disappointing — small portion and pretty chewy, though the marinara was okay. The cheesesteak stromboli was good, and the calzone could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Overall about a 6/10 — there’s definitely potential here, and with some ingredient upgrades this could be a really solid Italian spot.

I give a zero on the tablet menu. 1 tablet for for whole table. I don’t know where uncle Benoits hands have been. Had to wait fir waitress to change screen. Tables can be set up 100 different ways and I did not got to their menu orientation prior to arriving. Half the going out experience is reviewing the menu and presentation of the menu. Might be just me but, I want a traditional menu. The house salad leaves where size of burlap bags and required cutting to consume. Fine. Cup of soup should be noted as HALF cup of soup.
The main dishes came and saved the experience. Chicken parm was excellent as well as the lasagna did not disappoint. First impressions count.
I did notice multiple people
Having the pizza and will give a second reveiw with that. I will order take out when I recover. No take home box required.

Sooooo good ….. authentic Italian food by owner Giuseppe and family! Our first time visiting Arcadia and glad we chose this restaurant. Courteous staff and nice atmosphere with live music on special nights.
Amazing pizza, chicken parmashan and pesto sausage and spaghetti.
Desserts include chocolate cake and canollis too!
Would definitely recommend to others to try this Italian cuisine.

My mom & I tried it out & was amazing! Our salad dressings were great. We both ordered shrimp scampi & it was amazing! Tender & plump shrimp. Not too garlicky at all. The garlic rolls they served with the dish were good as well.

Loved the player piano.

We came here for dinner with the in-laws, as they had been wanting to try it for a while. Let’s start with the positives: the space is beautifully renovated and very welcoming, and our waitress was both friendly and attentive. The ordering system is digital only—either by scanning the QR code at the table or using one of their iPads. It’s a little less convenient than a paper menu, and the first iPad at our table didn’t work, but overall it wasn’t a major issue.

For food, my in-laws ordered a hand-tossed Hawaiian pizza (not my personal choice, but they enjoyed it well enough, though they said it wasn’t their favorite in the area). We ordered “the works” with a crispy crust, cut in squares. The flavor was excellent and the outer crust had a great crunch, but unfortunately the center was quite soggy—disappointing when ordering a crispy crust. Flavor-wise, it was easily a 5-star pizza, but the bake brought it down to more of a 2-star experience.

After the meal, the owner stopped by and we appreciated the chance to share feedback directly. He mentioned that pizzas with a lot of toppings should be ordered “extra crisp,” though that option isn’t listed on the menu. In my opinion, if the kitchen already knows heavier pizzas tend to bake soggy, it would be better to automatically bake them a bit longer so the whole crust comes out crisp. If they can get that balance right, I think this place has the potential to really stand out.

As a nice touch, the owner also brought us a complimentary scoop of gelato to sample, which was a sweet way to end the evening.

Four of us had lunch there. Staff were so friendly, nice to see smiles in a restaurant today. Both small Strombolis, as well as sausage calzone and capreses panini were very tasty and plentiful. Good flavors too. We were very impressed and will return. They have a great menu and atmosphere. Miguel the host and Caroline the server were both 5 star!

First and formost I enjoyed myself and will go back. I would recommend that the hostess take names.. it relaxes the customer knowing they won’t be skipped. Waitstaff is excellent but they need more servers. I ordered the calmari appetizer. The breading didn’t have any seasoning. I added my own salt and pepper at the table. The lasagna was delicious. The tiramisu was delicious. I really liked the garlic bread. I ordered and enjoyed my seafood diablo but… have you ever purchased that bag of frozen bits of mixed seafood with squid, octopus, mussels and tiny shrimp? That’s what the dish reminded me of. It had a stronger fishy taste than I was expecting. Usually when I get seafood diablo it comes with normal sized shrimp and scallops. The mussels were plentiful but it seems they were cooked along with the dish instead of separately to reduce the grit and broken shells. I had 2 that weren’t open so I didn’t eat them. We plan on returning soon to sample some other dishes.

Us and our friends have wanted to try this place for awhile. Finally we went for lunch. The exterior and interior have been done very nicely. There were only a handful of customers present and we were seated quickly and given the ipad menus, which having 2 for 4 people wasn’t ideal but it worked. Our booth was about 10 feet from the self playing piano which was way too loud. We mentioned it to our waitress and I even asked if it could be turned down. She just smiled, so either she couldn’t hear us very well or she wasn’t allowed to turn it down. I found it very strange that for a restaurant that took 2 years to open, and has been open for months, they still can’t get a liquor license. We split a large square pizza which was pretty good, but not the best around. The owner stopped by before we left and told us a little background on him and the place. To be honest I probably won’t be back unless the blaring automatic piano stops blasting out elevator music nonstop, it is just too hard to have conversations during a meal with friends. Plus, there are too many other places around that have better lunch options for less money and you can actually order a beer.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Not real fond of looking at iPad for menu. Had to wait to ask waiter questions before he took order.

Garlic knots were not very flavorful. Like a dinner roll with a little melted garlic butter on them.

Waiter did bring us a two piece “sample “ of the works Sicilian pizza. It was good, but crust was almost like a French bread type crust instead of a soft pizza type crust, but it was ok.
We ordered the hand tossed thin type crust pizza… it was ok, but crust was soggy in middle. Needs to be cooked longer to make it more crispy.
I would go back again for another try , as I think it has a potential to be good and a lot of mixed reviews. It appears they are still working on things to improve on.

I was craving good Italian , this place did not disappoint what so ever. Skyler had incredible customer service skills. The flavor of the food was on point. The salad was fresh no wilted pieces. Than they had Biscoff gelato. This is the best place I have ate in Arcadia so far.
