Best fast food chow hall.
It’s definitely worth the wait and drive as the food tastes actually good.
Selection includes Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Hot Dogs, Chicken Tenders, Hot Wings and Fancy Hamburgers everyday.

Been out of the Corps for over 3 years now and I still occasionally reminisce about eating here with the boys. The gas chamber and chicken tenders with honey mustard were always great

Alright check it out…
This here is Tanika. She works the omelette bar at the chicken shack. She is a celebrity here on base, and she deserves the utmost respect.
Any boots or transfers better walk into this chow hall and render her the proper greeting, or else ima found out

Pretty much just variations of chicken as served by Sodexo. The employees are friendly and the baked chicken is usually pretty good. The salad selection is lacking and there frequently seem to be problems with the scullery which leaves tray turn-in a bit of a mess. The place is pretty packed when they first open for lunch around 1100. Show up later if you want shorter lines and easier seating.

Worker at the drive thru today around 12:25 gave me attitude for no reason. Completely unacceptable and I expect that next time I dine here, I get treated with some decency.

Only chow hall I eat at. Service is good, lines always move fast, food is consistent. Only thing lacking is veggies but they have good salad stuff sometimes.

If you have time to go inside it’s an awesome chow hall but the drive thru is always slow, they are always running out of something, I know it’s a chowhall but the employees don’t actually seem to care about there job which can rub off on people around them

Just your classic southern fast food place with all the mediocre food and none of the good customer service. It always spices up my day a little but when the employees roll their eyes at me and try to challenge me to fist fights. Pretty fun time compared to the Raising Canes down the road but at least the Cane’s employees have a full set of teeth. Sodexo rolled out another banger with this place. The foods better then some of the chow halls at least and they have a drive through. but if you want to use the drive through make sure you tell them you only want something simple like a cup of water cuz in the eyes in the employees, any time you ask them to do their jobs, your extremely inconveniencing them so don’t expect any sort of patience from them. chicken shack by Sodexo, where it’s all about the sad life of the employees and never about the people who are hungry

This is ridiculous, there is no reason why I should be waiting 1/2 an hour for chowhall food. There is only 1 counter open for dinner but 2 during lunch and even lunch gets ridiculous sometimes. And the so called “fast line” ends up taking longer than the main menu line. The food is decent but no one wants to wait behind 20 boots… especially when they have sh*t to do. This is not the workers fault at all, I get that they are trying everything in their power but it can be managed better. For example, they changed the schedule to opening later at 16:30. When you’re open for less time people will come at once and I guarantee that if it was open for longer, then the lines wouldn’t be so jammed packed because there will be a bigger time gap for people to come.

These chow halls need more staff members. I should not have to wait 38 minutes for 8 cars to get their food in the morning. Find the bottleneck and fix it. Most of these chow halls are ridiculously slow. Most service members only have a certain amount of time to get food. These chow halls slow pace is the reason myself and other marines skip breakfast. Which is not a healthy warrior mindset.
