Had dinner at Sitar last night and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Dundalk. The staff were really friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food came out hot and full of flavour — we tried the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and vegetable pakora, and everything was absolutely delicious.
The restaurant itself has a lovely warm atmosphere — perfect for a quiet dinner or a small group. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion size. You can tell the chefs really care about what they’re serving.
Overall, a fantastic experience — highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Indian food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Eaten in a couple of times now, and have gotten take away many times and the food has never me down!

A part of my heart automatically craves for Butter Chicken every time I step into an Indian restaurant and Sitar absolutely delivered. Rich flavour, comfortable atmosphere, and service so friendly it’s impossible not to smile. A full 10/10 experience!

We got a takeaway and order the chicken Korma and chicken passanda and a portion of chips. Both dishes came with Pilau rice and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. My favourite was the passanda, the flavour was amazing and I will definately order that again.
