Needed to fuel up our bodies last Sunday late-ish night for the long drive home & was happy to come across this place! The food was great, our server was also the bartender but you’d never know because she was so attentive & def can’t beat the prices…especially given that we ordered 5 different items plus drinks. Would definitely go again if I’m in the area.

I stopped by here on my way back to Boston today, this is a drive I will be making very often. I got one corona and asked to close out my tab. The short, old, blonde lady bartender complained to a customer right in front of me that I only got one drink and that I was paying with a card. I told the lady she can charge me 10 dollars plus I left a 5 dollar tip on a 4 dollar drink, I didn’t have cash. A place I would’ve stopped often in the future to get food and drinks, I will never do. Horrible service from that bartender.
I do want to point out that I am not white. Reading most of these reviews, I see a trend here. It’s your restaurant, do your thing, but next time just put up a sign saying “whites only” so at least people know.

This is an authentic, awesome little bar in a little town that’s struggling. Older, super friendly, working class customers; familiar, friendly service. Clearly a local hangout — a gender- and racially-mixed group were meeting in a side room to share pizza before settling to down to their weekly dice, cards and dollar bills….wIth breaks for drink refreshment. Some customers at the bar sang along to a jukebox mix of Toby Keith, Tom Jones, The Beatles, Poison and The Monkees. A couple of local guys had a beer while picking up pizza to take back to their families.
We washed down our solid bar fare with very good, local IPA’s from a microbrewery headed by a woman who couldn’t do what she wanted to do at a bigger brewery, so she started her own here in Palmer.
There are probably better places to eat in town, but Tailgate has to be the most authentic, welcoming place here. I’ll look forward to going back.

Our family saw an ad for this place at the Exeter hockey rink. I’ve never been disappointed by a hockey rink ad before and we were hangry with only 7 minutes to get there after game end.

Not a good place to go I know them personally too personal, That was my mistake, They constantly hit on every woman, and their she carried around special little bags of pills. They will gladly throw one in a woman’s drink. They are prison guards. They should be Prisoners the amount of cheating they do on their wives as incredible
