Urban Cowboy Ranch is an exceptional property. The decor is stunning, the vibe is on point, and the overall hospitality and programming feel thoughtful and well-curated ✨. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in.

Unfortunately, the Dining Room didn’t quite live up to the setting. We ordered six dishes and genuinely wanted to give every benefit of the doubt, but the food felt underwhelming overall. Nearly every dish was heavily over-seasoned, with salt dominating the flavors. The pasta was overcooked and even saltier than the anchovy itself. The salad was overdressed and salty, the branzino followed the same theme, and the charred sunchokes were crusted with salt to the point of distraction .

It left us wondering whether these dishes were pre-shift photo shoot plates or simply not tasting as they should in a live service setting. The creativity and intention seem to be there, but the execution missed the mark on balance.

With a lighter hand and more restraint in seasoning, the food could easily match the incredible atmosphere. We’d happily return for the experience—and hope the kitchen fine-tunes the flavors to let the ingredients truly shine ️ .

We had dinner here last night and it was all amazing, food, service and ambience. We used to come every winter until last year and always had a wonderful experience so I was a bit baffled to read quite a few negative reviews after not being here for a while. But we weren’t disappointed. Every dish we ordered – and we ordered quite a few – was delicious, including bucatini alla puttanesca (I am Italian and they rarely are properly made in the states) the salad, branzino a few of the sides. Every person who helped us with service was so kind and nice. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend and we will definitely repeat!

The chiquiles were horrible. Dry hard chips, cold sauce on top. The hashbrown tased bad, like the fry oil hasn’t been changed in a long time. The bacon as well, tastes like a dirty fryer. The dutch baby pancake was also disappointing. Very thin, burned on the edges my 8yr was pissed! Beautiful space, too bad you can’t eat atmosphere! Avoid eating here!

Great experience on a quiet Monday evening. Alex was a super host/waiter very attentive and knowledgeable.

Food was great. Pasta delicious, steak cooked perfectly can’t ask for more. Looking forward to future meals.

Absolutely delicious! A bit pricey, but so so good. We got the protein of the day (a ribeye – the best I’ve ever had) and the burrata – everything was delicious!

Not feeling welcomed here. Group of 7, saying we are happy to separate to smaller table, getting rejected. Also, they don’t open to public, you need to live in the hotel to dine in here.

One of the worst dinners I have ever had. Receptionist never emailed the menu after I called. Hostess did not seat us (we arrived 15 min early, restaurant was 1/3 full) was very odd why we were not seated. The pasta dish was one of the worst dishes I have ever had. Chef Boyardee has more food and better quality. I feel bad being honest but for the price we paid, there needs to be an evaluation on how this restaurant is being operated. Peekamoose is a proper restaurant.

It’s a very pretty restaurant! The ambience is cozy. However the food was not good at all. $36 for chicken that was flavorless with gravy and not even a side.
The wagyu burger was just a patty with blue cheese and a cold bun. I liked the French fries that were on a side:( would not come back.
