Excellent small town diner food in a fun, quirky retro place. The grilled haddock sandwich was fantastic and the Creek Burger came with plentiful fries and fresh toppings on both sandwiches.

Drove here to try something new and local. Food was subpar. Asked about the salad bar and was told “not the season” even though the menu stated it was available Friday and Saturday (went Friday) so I got the Philly (dry, lukewarm and not much flavor) and husband got a burger. Felt like we were imposing and sat with empty drinks while eating. Not impressed.

I arrived in town exhausted and hungry after driving seven hours. I strolled into The Creek and plopped onto a barstool. The bartender was welcoming and kind. Kevin, a patron sipping a beer nearby, was quick to share some local history, and menu tips. His friend showed up soon after and did the same. The bartender made sure that I was taken care of because she saw that I was tired. I scarfed down a cup of elk chili and a house burger with fries. They were each delicious. And I left feeling satisfied, happy, with new “friends” and a full belly. I’m eager to try the bison burger next. Two thumbs up!

Had their special – over cooked ribs with an under cooked baked potato that was cold in the center. Ribs was very dry. The salad bar which has been great in the past looked like it was left over from the day before with several items near empty. Waitress was preoccupied with ???

I have ordered from here before and gotten good food, but today the fries were majorly over cooked. The onions on the burger were very dry
( not fresh),the Lettuce was not fresh and the burger was dry.

This is a nice little bar and grill. We brought a large group here this last weekend, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. For the number of orders, our food came out pretty quickly! I had the pulled pork with coleslaw and sweet potato fries, and I would highly recommend it. Their cupcakes were also very good!

First off, friendly staff. This however does not make up for the pricing. We ordered just two appetizers and it came out to $25. Sure $11 for the pig nachos is fair as they load it with absolutely delicious pulled pork. But $10.50 for an order of cheese curds is just outrageous, it’s more expensive than fair or event prices. (ordered over the phone)

Usually a good place to eat but lately the burgers have been way off. Ordered Heinz 57 on 56 and asked for medium rare. I understand some places don’t do that but they do Usually. It was burnt, pulled pork was burnt and dry as can be, maybe one line of A1 on it. Let bartender know i was very unhappy after dousing a couple bites in bbq, ketchup and mustard and still no good. I don’t know of any restaurant that just takes a couple dollars off an item barely eaten to make up for unsatisfied customer. I truly believe giving good service and quality bring back people. There is some things that for sure need changing. I hope they find a way to better it because it usually is a good place. I keep giving the benefit of the doubt because i enjoy most of the employees. I’m sure i will try later later down the line. I hope this goes towards constructive criticism because the outcome should result in better quality and 110% customer service. I do recommend this place but everyone has their own opinion.

This is got to be southern Minnesota’s best pork tenderloin! Not flat beat down chunk of meat but a nice thick chunk of pork tenderloin with great seasoning! From their excellent service all the way down to their honey beer battered onion rings and wonderfully spiced pickle chips, it was an excellent stop!
