Update: I have now had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant.
The atmosphere was just what you would expect from a BBQ restaurant. There was so much on the walls to look at very tastefully done. Great spot for social media pics.
I had the Cuban sandwich with awesome pasta salad and an extra side of the Mac n cheese. With Nanna pudding for dessert.
I forgot again, to take pictures before digging in.
It was delicious. So much food, so reasonably priced and came home with leftovers.
I have not yet had the pleasure to eat inside of the restaurant but… I have had the pleasure to enjoying many items while they were/are out and about.
I must say, that the food is absolutely incredible. I have had the pulled pork, brisket, and hot dogs over time and they have all been large portions full of flavor.
The owner and his staff have always been delightful to interact with and when my dietary restrictions came in to play, have always accommodated them.
I appreciate the friendly smiles and also knowing that I am appreciated for patronage.
I highly recommend stopping by the restaurant to get some fantastic food as they are not always out and about.

This BBQ joint is relatively new to the Block. Doing a Brisk lunch business on a Thursday. Sandwich, side and drink combos very reasonable. I had to pulled pork, my friend had the pulled chicken both thought they were excellent both had green beans, delicious.

First, the lady at the counter was kind, sweet and helpful.
I had the brisket which was clearly reheated, I should have known better than to order brisket in the middle of the week. On the weekends its probably much better. The Mac and cheese wasn’t bad but not great either. The beans were very good. Hindsight, I would have asked if the brisket was made that day, and made a different selection.

Came in to get wings for the Super Bowl. Wings were on point! Great flavor, good sized, and the whole family loved them. I was in and out in time to see the game! Jason and his staff are top notch! If you’re in the area on Wednesdays they offer 75 cent wings… You can’t beat it! Highly recommend!

We were headed West on I-85 from Charlotte and wanted some BBQ when I spotted a Billboard “Iron City Bbq” exit 102. Were we ever satisfied with that decision! Delicious BBQ! What an incredibly Friendly and courteous staff! We were two very satisfied customers! Head to 115 N Shelby St, Blacksburg, SC for a truly excellent experience!

Ordered the pulled pork and brisket plates, delicious, tender meats. The spicy honey mustard and sweet and spicy sauces were unique and perfect compliments to the meat.
Southern green beans and home style Mac and cheese were abundant and flavorful.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, ready to help with suggestions from their expansive menu. The owner was on hand and checked in to make sure everything was great.
This is a fantastic addition to downtown Blacksburg. Located just off I-85 exit 102. Worth the extra mile to come and explore. Make the trip!

This place is a hidden treasure that I no longer can keep! Absolutely delicious food.. And a nice comfortable atmosphere. Ask for Miranda.. She is one of the best servers around. Always a smile to make your food even better… Seriously, come check them out 🙂
