I have been wanting to go here for a while and when I tell you it was so good! From the time you walk in to the time you leave, you wouldn’t think it was a fast food place. I had the chicken sandwich combo with fries and my husband had the 6 wing combo with fried mushrooms. The fries were super good chicken sandwich was even better. My husband’s wings were definitely not the average run of the mill kind of wings. Good size for only 6 wings. Mushrooms were crispy golden brown in the outside and super moist in the middle! We had their in house made ranch and was even told by the cashier that all sauces are made in house and they even have a separate station for the sauces! I definitely liked the multiple drink choices from the regular sodas to the different flavored teas. The desserts are very creative and you get to keep the mason jar as a souvenir!!

It was great! The sandwich was so good, fresh and hot that no extra sauce needed. All chicken was cooked to order, fresh and fast. We switched the fries for fried pickles and it was enough for 2 people to share! The sweet tea was fresh an excellent addition to the meals. Simply delicious meals.

Slim Chicken. I know people are like another chicken place, but this has definitely become my favorite tender place and probably top 4 wing places.
The tenders are lightly breaded so you taste the chicken. It was juicy inside and a nice coating on the outside. I ended up getting the potato salad instead of fries cause I don’t like cold fries and was bringing this to work with me to eat later. I got fries, when I picked up so i could eat on the way home one day. Next time will have the wings sauces in Buffalo.
I didn’t particularly like these 2 sauces, but on my last trip, I tried the Buffalo sauce and Korean BBQ…absolutely delicious and my go to sauces now. I for sure am glad this chicken spot is here.

While visiting family in AL, we stopped at Slim Chickens 11/2025. Knowing it’s “another chicken place”, but definitely a great chicken place & worth a try for sure!
Ordered spicy Buffalo Mac & cheese bowl… man was it good! My kids had regular tender meal, they really enjoyed it as well. My family steadily visits here & everything they have ordered is super yummy (esp banana pudding)

If you haven’t been here yet you should come try this place. Friendly staff! I bought the tender bites tossed in sauce with fries and Texas toast. Everything was amazing! I did take out but ended up sitting in a booth.

We showed up at what we thought was 11pm but really it was midnight because of the time zone variation…. They still took our order even though they could have easily turned us away. They have these adorable souvenir jar desserts. The chicken was delicious and incredibly fresh. I cannot say enough how wonderful the employees are. Truly someone please reward them!! Amaya, Brian, Kamyrn, Tonya, Antonio, Hunter, and Tyler!
I mean this from the bottom of my heart, absolutely amazing. Above and beyond ! So so grateful for all of them. And they were all just so sweet. When they could have simply turned us away.

I went on Sunday with a few friends & we loved it! Everything was great including the food and service and how clean the restaurant is. Being a Sunday at lunch it was very busy but we still got our food quickly & were able to find a seat almost immediately. I didn’t see any high chairs for my toddler but they sat in a regular chair for most of lunch anyway. I definitely recommend checking this place this place out & I’ll definitely be back in the future.

was hungry in the mid of the night but found this in the side of road! their chicken & waffle was good & they have the Korean BBQ wings was bomb, tenders were crispy & well flavored! fries & toast were buttery & seasoned, we got the souvenir dessert jar too. this is better than CFA or Zax!

This was mine and my husbands first time here. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained. The lady who helped us went above and beyond. We told her it would take us a minute to order since it was our first time. I didn’t catch her name she had 2 lip piercings . She brought us an array of sauces to try and had the best energy. She was very nice and patient with us while we ordered.

First time at Slim Chicken. The fried chicken tenders were good, crispy. The fries were normal fries, nothing to write home about. I also got the side salad. Good proportion. It was all soft greens. No crunchy greens like I like mixes with soft greens. However, a good side salad.
I paid $.39 for each extra sauce which to me isn’t bad. I got the Slim sauce, extra ranch, honey mustard and garlic parmesan. I like to take various one to see which I like the best. I was not a fan of their Slim sauce, it was thick which is good but I didn’t like the taste. The garlic parmesan and the honey mustard were both good. The ranch had good flavoring However, was too watery. My ranch has to stick to my salad, not run off.
Overall, the food wasn’t bad at a competitive price but I most likely will not return.
