U Like Chinese has good food. My husband and I placed an order in the restaurant in South Lansing and ate it at home. The place itself looks well worn down; not really an eat in restaurant. The service and food was very good. They also deliver in a limited area. We will definitely eat their dinners again.

I am extremely picky about my Chinese food and these people were wonderful. They didn’t put the junk. I don’t like in there. They’re crab. Rangoons are good and not all sugary sweet. The egg rolls very good and my Szechuan chicken was wonderful. And the lady that was at the counter was very nice. Had a nice conversation with her and I told her if I liked it I’d be back and I shall be back

I’m sorry to complain, but something was not right with the egg rolls we purchased. I think they were old and reheated. We’d ordered three of them and threw most of them out after testing.

The dumplings I had today were fresh and plump and full of goodness. Same with the Crab Rangoon. Fully stuffed with delicious filling. This is a family run restaurant. A bit of a hole in the wall place. But the food is top of the line Chinese. They do a booming delivery service. While we were there in late afternoon I saw at least ten orders go out. I will be back!

Bourbon chicken lunch special + 2 egg rolls (no drink)
Some of the chicken was over cooked and dry. The entire dish was covered in a sweet syrup flavored sauce that was low quality. Reminded me of store brand pancake syrup.
Rice is a basic yellow (fried) rice. Pretty bland with what appears to be small pieces of onion and cabbage. I was unable to pickup any flavor other than the syrupy sauce which was off-putting.
Egg rolls are a very low grade, even for a hole in the wall Chinese place like this. Chewy, grainy and with an almost synthetic ginger flavor.
Dining area was cluttered with boxes and what appeared to be the staff’s personal items. The first table was wobbly and all the tops appeared dirty.
When my order was ready the staff called me to pick it up instead of serving me. Not a big deal, just not what you’d expect. The tray my food was served on was also dirty with dried bits of food.
Staff argued.
Bathroom out of order.

I have always loved coming here for their homemade dumplings. Only to purchase the dumplings today and find them to be frozen. They are absolutely terrible and taste freezer burnt the dipping sauce isn’t even the same. It’s very sad that once my favorite restaurant will not be an option anymore for me as long as they’re selling these frozen dumplings.

First time there. Very good food. Excellent crab Rangoons. Got the Sweet and sour pork on this visit. Very tasty. Will be back. Hunan chicken is very good. Ordered medium heat. Needs a bit more of the heat. Tasty though.

Absolutely LOVE this place! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Crab Rangoons are the best in Lansing, stuffed full so YES, sometimes they look split open, just taste them! Carry out is always a nice visit with the owner. Family restaurant in Chinese is also a Bonus!
